Defeating corporate security policies could get you sacked 😝 My employer has the same, among other policies. They've even disabled access to USB drives. Very annoying. Hackers will stop at nothing though. I think people would be surprised at how easy it is to gain access to businesses via social engineering to plant a malicious device.
Strictly speaking, Ugreen DON'T "make good stuff". What they do is test, select for sale and put their name on, the BEST stuff offered by the myriad hordes of competent Chinese electronics manufacturers.😃

Yep, I bought a UGreen 3.5" external USB3 drive bay the other day and it does run at USB3 speeds and the quality is good.
