Same goes with religion. Yes it is talking about a topic, it doesnt spread misinformation, but the way he shares it makes him special in many non religious people's eyes.
It was just that Mufti Menk, a follower of the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w, tried to imagine if the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w himself delivered the talk.

Friday sunnah acts:
1. Cut nails and trim hair/beard
2. Take a ghusl shower/bath
3. Use miswak/siwak (toothbrush)
4. Wear best clothes
5. Apply perfume/oud
6. Read Surat Al Kahf (chapter 18)
7. Walk to mosque early to be in the 1st rows
8. Listen to Friday sermon (Khutbah)
9. Send blessings on the Prophet (Allahumma salli wa sallem wa baarek ‘ala sayidina Muhammad wa ‘ala aalihi wa sahbihi wa sallem)
10. Supplicate (make dua) often especially in the “golden hour” (a time between Asr and Maghrib on Friday).
Please make dua for me and my family and for every suffering Muslim.

And truly spoken their like to use the verse that Islam allow them to have more then 1 wife but he cant satisfy the 1 but he wants more then 1. Never put ur wife in a situation like that where she ends up crying bcz of u as her husband. May Allah keep our marriages from things like that happening n bless us with our spouses

Imagine the husband not being intimate with his wife for months and months. This makes the wife feels worthless and rejected .The wife still is fully faithful and guards her chastity. Eventually through years of suffering the wife leaves and takes khula. Some men are evil and should never get married in the first place.

It's sad that these topics are rarely discussed. I, coming from a divorce, at age 25 at the time, did not know these things. I'm trying to learn recently more on the topic of sex education in Islam.
Divorce is not a sad thing, but a blessing in disguise. Trust me, I got divorced after a month of marriage at the age of 25, I got my self gathered and learned about sex education from educational point of view and learned about the relationship In Islam. Trust Allah, work hard towards your goals and Allah will definitely give you a better life.

This is beautiful. As a Muslim woman, I am sad to say the majority of harm that comes to Muslim women is by Muslim men. Muslim brothers become defensive and deny statistics instead of introspecting and acknowledging the problem. Muslim women, even hijabi ones are harassed on the streets. Domestic violence in Muslim countries is off the charts and we're still dealing with issues like honor killings and forced marriages.
Muslim women are trapped between Islamophobes in the western world who simply use our legitimate struggles to spread hate against our beautiful religion and Muslim men who deny our suffering because they only care when Muslim women are victims of westerners. Women aren't objects of pleasure. We're not property belonging to the father who can transfer us forcibly to the highest bidder without our consent. Women also aren't responsible for shouldering the burden of the 'honor' of entire households. We're human beings. We have rights and I am so disappointed in Muslim men because I know Muslim women can get out after midnight in Sweden or Switzerland without fear but in most Muslim countries, it's almost impossible and their rapes are blamed on themselves, never the perpetrator.
Very true and as a Muslim myself I agree with what you said but the religion does allow a man to harm their wife under certain circumstances sadly, that's why these men do it, the reason I haven't lost faith due to this is mainly because other religions allow much worse.
So called Islamic countries about which you are talking about nowadays is not following all the shariah rules.
They just cherry picking some rules and established that one only.
As a Muslim men I wanted to say sorry to you. We men have to understand the truth. A single man can't change the entire society. Illiteracy and low and wrong knowledge of deen is making men beast even in muslim country.

I think you may have a misunderstanding. In the eyes of Allah men and women are equal, the only thing that makes them better than each other is how religious they are. Allah would never allow his creation to be harmed or treated unjustly. Nowhere in islam are men allowed to hurt women. They might have authority in some cases but that’s a responsibility and unfortunately many men abuse the power, just like politicians abuse their power. It’s one of their biggest tests and failings. May Allah protect the women and men of the ummah and may Allah clear your heart of any misunderstandings. May Allah grant you tranquility in your heart and guide you closer to him and closer to truth Ameen

Assalam Walaikum brother Menk, I’m so glad and Jazak Allahum khair for talking about this matter. My husband’s goes without intimacy for months if not year. We’ve been married for long and he always lacks of physical intimacy. I love him and he does everything right except that. He refused to see any help. I’ve been suffering, crying and now getting sick because of that. I don’t want to leave him only for this reason. Being a Muslim woman I can’t have it in any other way. It is a sad situation, he doesn’t believe he’ll be punished by Allah for this purpose. I appreciate you have brought this matter.
If you can’t take it anymore it’s okay to opt out. I know it’s hard but this is the core of marriage. And you are human, so you need this. Giving him natural libido boosters is a good idea.
