Hey everyone! For anyone following the FULLY crochet bust panel instructions:
place 3 sc into the mesh rows (like the video) if you would like more coverage/need more bust support (recommended for c and up)
place 2 sc into the mesh rows for average coverage ( recommended for a-c )
place 1 sc into the mesh rows for a much smaller bust portion - might only work for smaller cup sizes
Hope that clears it up! Thank you for all the love on this video - I will be continuing to make crochet top tutorials all throughout the summer, just wait till I get finals over with:)
Sorry to bother you. I decided to do HDC instead of DC because I wanted a smaller mesh. Now my SC for the bust panel is forming a wave patten because 3 SC in the HDC mesh rows is too much. Is this okay? I know it’ll be cinched at the end, so I’m wondering if it really matters. Thanks. :)
@@devanrachel3085 A little wave is fine, just make sure to follow the directions in the pinned comment so it fits your bust size:)

Thank you!!! I Love your videos! ❤
Glad u liked the video❤️
Hi love the top…but I decided to use Tunisian knit stitch for the bust panels. I am a longtime years of crocheting and knitting. I love your knitting version look but decided the Tunisian crochet knit stitch was way faster than knitting. Just a thought for some people. Thanks love this top and your tutorial! Great job and video. Thank you so very kindly.😊
cool! Let me know how it turns out! I tried Tunisian myself but thought it was too thick for my taste.
That's so cute 😊thank you ❤❤❤❤
so glad you like it❤
I’m about to make this top in white so excited
This is so cute 😢😊
I’ve had the exact same issue, with them being bralettes, so this would be so much nicer for me to wear thanks 😊
glad you like it:)
Never went from tiktok to RUclips so fast before when I saw the tiktok about this top, it's stunning. I can't wait to do this tutorial
Thank you❤️ I can’t wait for you to start making it
omg subscribed! tysm for this amazing tutorial. i’ve already started this project. ♡
Happy you’re here💗
quick question, i’m currently crocheting one of the front panels and it seems to be increasing because of ch 1(?). is it supposed to do it? as yours doesn’t look like it’s increasing 🤍
@@ash-zt5fs hi! Make sure to follow my pinned comment to crochet the right width for the front panel for your size! Keep in mind that it’s normal if it increases outwards at first because we will be ruching it inwards later;)
@@madebycoral aww thank you hun ♡ i wish i saw your comment first bc i literally undid my work and redid it just to have the same results. anyway tysm🤍 😂
@@ash-zt5fs glad you figured it out!
EEK ITS OUT YAY CANT WAIT TO MAKE THIS
I can’t wait❤❤❤
THIS SLAYS

ur so pretty, thank u for sharing this pattern
of course! thank you so much
YAY THANKS SO MUCH
lace bodice part :
row 1 : 27:53
row 2 : 31:07
row 3 : 33:22
after row 3 do the same thing as row 2
I wonder if you could add that to your video for the crochet cup sizes. 3 stitches definitely made cup too big. But this is adorable, going to take out the cups and redo.
omg u are amazing for this
Glad u enjoyed❤❤❤
THANK YOU SO MUCH SENDING SO MUCH LOVE🩷🩷🩷
hi coral!! i’d there any recommendations you would give if i wanted to make this top longer and the cup bit higher w out making it look weird and still making it flattering xx ❤
LOVE U !!! Make more videos !!!❤️🔥❤️🔥
I will!
as im making the back pannel i can see it slowly curving into a c will this effect the top as long as a stretch it and sew it?
so cute tsm ❤
💗
hi! I’m doing a fully crocheted bust and am kinda confused how the bandeau is connected by single crochets at the bottom (underneath the drawstrings loop). I just finished one bust panel and going to start on the 2nd but how do they connect eventually? Is there directions for that portion in the drawstring/bodice portion? Sorry if this is addressed in the video but couldn’t find that part. Thanks!! 😊
Heyy, i started you're top and it's amazing but i just realized i have been using a 5 mm hook since the beginning, do you think it'll change something ?? Thank you for the pattern , i can't wait to finish it.
❤ I am planning to make a dress . I am new to the the cluster pattern . Am I to assume the second row provide an increase base ? Thank you
What if you did a front loop crochet for the bust part? I’m thinking about experimenting with that!
Hey so I’m stuck on the bust panel and I got confused with the single crochet like were we supposed to chain 1 every time we finish a row because I did that and it kinda made the sides longer then it needed it to be but at the same time I am using a bigger yarn
Hiii. This is such a cute top! I’m having so much fun making it but since I’m crocheting it how do I do it if I wanna attach spaghetti straps in the corners.
Hiii! Im making this top right now, and i wanted to let you know that for me adding 3 single crochets to the double crochets in sides of the back was too much. I had to frog it and do 2 instead, maybe it was because of the yarn. Other than that its looking great so far! Im so exited to wear it when its done. Sorry of this makes no sence
Thanks for letting me know, sorry you had to frog it:( personally I wanted more coverage so I put three, especially when it ruches the bust part narrows so I wanted to make it wider to be safe. Glad that works for you!
Same for me! It expanded outward quite a bit, the tutorial is absolutely lovely though. I think I might try two loops or one :))
What's the time stamp?
TYSM! You literally saved my top!!! 💗
Hey thank you so much for sharing this tutorial! It was so clear and easy to understand. I can’t wait to make it! I was just wondering what type of yarn you used to make it? Thank you in advance
Of course! I used cotton nylon blend yarn cotton Creme from michaels
thank you so much
This tutorial is so easy to follow thank you! To be sure is it 3.75mm hook or 2.75mm bc in the beginning when you were listing the materials it said 2.75 but then somewhere else you said 3.75
It is 3.75mm, sorry for the typo.
@@madebycoral ty!
Hiii!!! So sorry to ask but does adding the elastic thread make the top tighter? If not, would skipping a stitch with the elastic thread here and there make it tighter without making the piece wonky?
Hi! I'm currently working mine and I was wondering is it okay if I do not use elastic thread? Will it give the same result?
I finished marking the back peice, but it has started to get bigger on the bottom and also ruffle itself. Any tips?
hi!! this was one of the most creative and beautiful crop tops i've ever seen on yt! it's really so beautiful, can't wait to try it out! but how long did it take you to make this piece?
ahh thank you so much! It usually takes me around 4 days to make this one! It doesn't feel long because the stitch type changes so much;)
What size crochet hook do you use to finish the edge of the knit panel?
I just finished the bandeau part and it's slightly big, should I keep going so it will fit better when I add the elastic or should I take out some rows?
Love the tutorial, just wondering if you chain one for each row on the two panels, or you just chain one for the first row?
chain one at the beginning of each row for the bust panels if you are crocheting them!
hey coral! would u recommend the yarn in this video? is it comfortable to wear/work with? i've tried lily sugar n cream cotton and i didn't like how rough it was
The one I used in the video was also rougher, I recommend the cotton yarn linked in the description if you want a softer yarn:)
love this top! was wondering what yarn you used for the seafoam top you show in the beginning? i cant find that color from capri eco cotton
cotton Creme!
after the last dc of the row for the back panel, do i chain 1 and then do a chain one for the next row on top of that, or js one ch1?
Ch 1 and make a row of single crochet to finish.
I just finished half of this top I did all my measurements correctly but it turned out to be too big for some reason but I fixed it by cinching some of the mesh part in the back together with the yarn I just sewed 2 rows together basically using a yarn needle
Did you use DK or Worsted yarn in this tutorial? Loved the tutorial! 💖
Worsted
In the video it says to use a 2.75 hook but in the description it say 3.75. Which one do i use?
so for the lace part, do I only follow row 1 + row 2 and repeat or is it row 1, 2 and 3 and repeat?
Imagine this but as a dress!!
Someone needs to do it omg
HI CORAL!! IM NIKKI FROM CLASS, WE WERE IN MS PERRY AND MS GRIMALDOS CLASS!
omg heyyy no way!!!
Hi😊 How long was your circular needles? Thank you❤️
Love the tutorial!! What size yarn did you use?
glad u like it. I used a size 4 worsted cotton yarn
What size hook did you use for the drawstring cord? 😊
Hi! Anybody can help? Is it ok if I make 2 sc into every dc row(mesh pattern)
Hi, I just finished my back panel and I counted the stitches and they are the same at the bottom and top but the size increased by an inch, (instead of shrinking) is there anything I should fix?
I think it should be fine. Just make sure to try on the bust portion before you continue with the lace part to make sure it fits the way you want. If it's too loose, just frog some of the front bust panels to make it smaller.
i am making this top for my friend and she wanted the bottom part to be tighter. does anyone know how i would do this
I love this top! I was just wondering how long your drawstring cord ended up being?
Hi, I think around 2 ft!
how do i make it more flowy? i want to increase somehow during the lace bodice part but idk how
Thank you for the wonderful tutorial! I'm in the drawstring part. My question is, how do I add the drawstring if I'm crocheting? How do I insert that drawstring through sing crochets?
If you watch the tutorial all the way through there’s a section explaining how to make the loops to hold the drawstring:) hope that helps
@@madebycoral right!!! I see it now 🥹 I was just skimming through so i can prepare myself before making this top. Thank you!!
@@marylee1278 I can’t find the section!! Would you mind time tagging it? 💗
@@graceeee526 14:55
is elastic necessary? what is this for? I'm in the middle of the making but i run out of yarn, I STILL LOVE IT THO I'M DEFIENTLY GONNA MAKE MANY COLOUR VERSIONS OF THIS
Not necessary but I like to add it so the top stays on better (especially as a tube top) ☺️
how would i start the second bust panel? would i do a slipknot or something?
Yes, slip not and pull through, chain one
Can I use a 4 mm hook instead of a 3.75 mm one? And if I used a different colour for the drawstrings and wave stitch, would I need less than 400 yards of yarn? Is it possible to use a different colour for the wave stitich?
4mm is fine. Yes, you will be connecting on a new piece of yarn so using a new color will be easy to do;)
