- Many Playstation owners make the mistake of cleaning their Dualshock controller incorrectly which can cause long term damage to the Playstation Dualshock controller itself! In this video, I show you step-by-step how I personally clean & disinfect my Playstation Dualshock 4 controller!

Love that the cleaning method mentioned is cool and helpful, but to me I'd rather stick to my old personal cleaning method which is tearing apart the entire controller and cleaning every part of the controller

And bravo for your controllers lasting long enough to need a cleaning...seems like my DS4's get stick drift within 6 months, and I take pretty good care of them.
I will admit...the joystick/rubber dust that builds up around the sticks does occasionally need to be wiped off.

I dry brush it with a toothbrush to get gunk out of the hard to get areas and then follow up with the toothbrush barely wet with alcohol. Then dry brush it again after it's dry. I also open it up and clean behind the d pad, joysticks, triggers, and buttons. Very time consuming but well worth it!

Grease Wipers cost 0,80€ a pack and do the job pretty well without tearing
PS: GREASE/FAT Wipes, usually for kitchen use, not regular ones

Hey john I just got fiber optics installed and my internet is super fast on my WiFi on my iPhone, but my PS4 uploads struggles to get past 10mps, the downtoad is upwards to 1000mps but upload is just not working or something bro, on my wifi my iPhone gets 500mps upload, my PS4 upload still struggles to get past 10mps, any tips? I have a original PS4 but I don’t think that’s the problem

Which scuff controller should i get i want that back button attachment but they expensive on amazon and ebay. I heard scuffs don't last long but i feel like the back button can last longer.
The gunk in the small cracks annoys me, I’ve only had my controller a few months and already I noticed crap in the there, I found some thin card and got out what I can but pads easily dirty. Tactical sprint on COD MW ruins my DualShocks in no time. Usually only last about 2 months. When one begins to act up, I hv a new replacement on standby with Kontrol Freeks already glued to the analogs. I also tk the analogs out of the damaged controllers & put on Kontrol Freeks so I hv extra analogs just in case. Might as well get my $60 worth right?

I bought silicone skins for my controllers to prevent build ups of nasty deposits. I did this for both my Xbox and PlayStation's, and I haven't needed to clean them nor have I had any problems with them since.

Someday I bought a controller and I had fun with it but then I realized it was really low on battery so I plugged it in a electricity box you know, a box that has multiple outcomes. So that same one was also plugged with the ps4 and a computer that was turned off so I played a while and then I wanted to check how much battery in it was it said it was full but the light bar was turned off even tho the cable was unplugged and then after a while it stopped working even tho it was on 100% I don't even know what happend but I think the problem was is that I don't need to charge while playing anyone else know what the actual problem is?
