- This 16-bit remix of the main theme of "The Amazing Digital Circus" is actually a song in Midi format that I put a 16-bit SoundFont with an app.
I thought the result was so great that I wanted to upload it to RUclips so you can also enjoy the song. Unfortunately the creator of the Midi appears to have deleted the file on the page so I can't credit the creator :/ still, without a doubt he did an excellent job.

The sega Genesis soundfont has surprisingly good replacements for most of the instruments
That’s because the Genesis doesn’t use a soundfont. It has a synthesizer that can make a ton of different sounds. Virtually endless variations of sounds.

I remember playing this. It ran pretty well, I loved being able to play as POMNI on the Genesis. Always fun to revisit, too. WHO else got stuck on the boss fight with Jax, tho. Or is that just me?

The smarmy rabbit beat me more times than I could count. Turns out you had to find the bowling ball in the previous level’s secret room to beat him. What the heck is that?!

also there was a secret room wheres a fake exit Appears I think I'm the only one who discovered it (it was in a Kaufmo drawing)

To be honest, it really does sound like a party/park styles sonic level, it would fit carnival night, maybe someone could mod this into sonic 3 air?

I didnt make it a mod, because i dont know how to make one, just placed it over carnival night.

Now that i look at it, the thumbnail image looks like it'd be for an actual existing game
This is kinda funny, since Goose mentioned she based Pomni’s proportions on Sonic characters.
Pomni also resembles the Sega character Nights too!

Thanks to it having support for soundfonts, I too did this recently in VLC and was pleasantly surprised by how well the Genesis/Megadrive soundfont worked with its instrument mapping to the various midi channels
Another soundfont from another midi synth from that era that I’m surprised worked very well is this one I have for the Creative AdLib
If TADC were a Sega Genesis game, don't doubt that you would have to do missions and when you finish all of them, an SMW nes Hummer Team style end screen will appear

i actually remember this, as a kid i got through most of the bosses but i JUST COULD NOT beat those final 2 levels, the corrupted bubble bossfight always got me. i ended up beating it a couple years later.

I could see Treasure developing it. They did McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure and Dynamite Headdy, two other Genesis games with similar vibes to TADC.
