Seeing Volibear's full art and just witnessing him in his full size and glory compared to his League version really made me hype for Riot MMO again because the world of Runeterra is amazing. Really I've been in love with the League universe for like 10 years now and they keep building it and adding cool stuff and great stories to it. For a taste of what's possible inside of it we got Arcane and it was brilliant. Experiencing this in an MMO setting could be absolutely incredible if they nail the game. I actually hope they only release a few regions initially (Demacia, Noxus and maybe Freljord would probably be best) and focus on filling them with stuff, making the world feel as alive as the stories and cinematics do.
In League MMO Freljord needs to be released later. The hype will be so big when it happens. There is always good adventure value to later discovering a recluse snow map ! ^^ Like when you learn the History and Geography of Europe, and then you stumble uppon RUSSIA

My favourite deck is mono shurima literally because when everything falls into place you get these 30 sec to a minute movies of all your champs ascending and it gets me hyped everytime, paired with the voice acting being TOP TIER it will never get old for me. Card selection is what makes Janna so great tbh. It can help look for earlygame/ payoff/(equipments in my wack vayne janna deck) and is a pretty nice champ to have across multiple archetypes.

btw the story for this expansion probably doesn't make sense if you don't know Nilah's lore so really brief overview Nilah once heard of a great demon called Ashlesh the demon of Primordial Joy, after discovering the demon and facing it for many years she eventually overcame and defeated the demon but this duel and power came at a great cost. Ashlesh removed all evidence of her ever existing, all records of her, all memories of her were erased and it also stole every emotion from her except Joy. Nilah, which is the name she goes by now because everyone forgot her old name is now a monster hunter that is trying to cement evidence of her existing by killing great monsters hence why she's going to kill Volibear.
To think I wouldn't have any issue with her lore if it wasn't for the fact that she has been roaming Runeterra for seven centuries with Ashlesh's Joy thing. Seven centuries of an absurdly overpowered woman and yet she accomplished nothing of substance because the lore wasn't ready to support that backstory. She could be an Isekai character that it would make as much sense with how little presence she has in the higher spheres of civilization despite being a force to be reckoned with.
Isn't that a paradox? Because if she is now only capable of feeling joy she wouldn't feel regret over people losing memories of her, or any other emotion that would make her want everyone to remember her feats
@@markopusic8258 The problem is she's a modern and unpopular champion She's modern enough where they stopped writing lore and stories for most champions and she's unpopular so they don't write lore to sell skins for her so her story is kinda stuck right now in this introduction phase and probably cursed to never progress even though a big part of her story is this journey to be remembered. She's kinda stuck in this awful catch 22 because to like her character and become popular you have to get invested in her journey but to get her journey she has to be popular.

Nilah's feats are way too grand to be slipped under the rug for seven centuries straight, that's bound to leave incomprehensible holes that talented historians could track down. For example, what if she takes down Volibear? Even if memories of Nilah personally slaying the demi-god are erased, he will still be impossibly dead and forces would either hunt Nilah down, or worse case, implode into paranoia and possibly civil war over the death of a freljordian demi-god. Case being, consequences can't be erased without the world stopping to make sense. It's already hard to believe that the primordial demon of Joy would hold such powers over collective memory (no seriously, what does that have to do with his primal emotion, does Fiddlesticks hold powers of similar nature that we were never told?), but even if we accept it, given the magnitude of Nilah's accomplishments in the world... It simply can't work.
There's tons of burst damage before Nilah, it's just she's the most direct and uncodntional. You had level 2 Yi, you had stuff like blood for blood and transfusion, triggers like Xerath or Yasuo, you could charitably call losing health buffs like silence etc akin to damage. Nilah's burst speed damage is incapable of killing units or the nexus so its more like a health debuff.
I remember I loved to play Anivia and Karma. Freljord and Ionia have a ton of safety options to get you to the endgame and once you get to 10 mana you basically win. Now 2 years later I come back and these two look very underwhelming in comparison.

The old ones had a looot of duds though. Lucian, for example, is my favorite in the game, but stuff like Karma, Hecarim, Darius, Teemo etc. feel really boring

Even if you think it's bad, it was over quick and can easily be made better without reanimating a whole movie like the new ones. Teemo on the other hand I have to strongly disagree. Teemo is a 1-cost hero and it was very fitting, that his upgrade was such a minor effect given what a minor hero he is. It's a 1/1 turning into a 2/2. Imagine that getting a cinematic of mushrooms exploding left and right. Unfitting.
Theres more than just those two. Xerath damages at burst speed with landmark destruction, Yasuo if you use his landmark, some of the old Taric shenanigans
you have to destroy a landmark, and to summon a landmark is slow and to destroy it is slow as well(except countdown landmarks that automatically destroy themselves after X rounds). You anyway have to play something else, for Nilah burst damage you just have to keep Nilah on board and declare attack

Runeterra has the same sound for hitting Nexus with any unit, and the sound bit is pretty impactful. When I first started playing, it rubbed me the wrong way. I attack with a 1/1, but it smacks the Nexus as if it is a big unit. Doesn't make sense to me.
I'm a bit confused. In this video you say Nilah isn't great and her decks have a bad win percentage, but you just uploaded that Nilah Janna deck and titled it the best deck to climb to masters. So is Nilah great or nah?

Because she's currently being worshipped by Zaunites due to her being a bona fide goddess of wind. Zaun really appreciates Janna's ability to bring them clean air, whereas Shurima doesn't really care about her anymore, so she decided to settle down.
The biggest biggidi big big champion in LoR (as well as Lol?) is Aurelion sol. Litterally bigger than a star. So Voli is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY smaller than the biggest champion.
