Druid is gonna pump out 60 dmg and more with Denatrius the turn he plays him.

Don't tell him that you can discover Frostwyrm's Fury in a deck with Patchwerk, along with other triple rune cards.
Yeah you can go BFF to even run the 2 mana discover a frost rune card, on top of the multitude of "discover a spell" cards.
Dont tell him you can play it on turn 5 if you discover it off of Vizier either
Yeah, but I don't think these cards should be judged based on the power they give when discovered. They should only be judged by their power when you put them in your deck.
@@GrimmBones I don't think OP is suggesting that, I think it was when Snnuy said "If there's a way to play Patchwerk and Frostwyrm's Fury together, I won't touch Hearthstone again" (paraphrased). Rarran probably should've joked that it is technically possible because discover can give you stuff outside your rune restrictions for some reason.
@@GrimmBones thats not a good take. The cards need to be judged for these situations, because discovering them happens often and decides games. Its like, when you put a 0 mana "you win" spell in the game, but it can only be discovered randomly. According to you, that would be fine since nobody can put it in the deck right?

Death knight brought me back to HS but similar to snnuy so many cards in HS are just not fun to play against. It is not even about balance.
But Death Knight itself gives me so much joy and nostalgia that I still enjoy this time in HS a lot. Despite the meta, not because of it.
I really look forward to the next rotation and more cards for my favorite class.
( for fun and interactive gameplay, runeterra is still delivering )
At this point Rarran and Snnuy just like 2 dude showing his collection of card, embracing and proud what they have just like dad with roasted ribs in barbeque

Frostmourne should be extremely powerful for thematic reasons, if it isn't that just feels wrong. I use it in Death Knight anyway because Arthas without Frostmourne just doesn't seem right.

It's funny as I returned to HS for this expansion and for death Knight and I haven't played a single game of DK that I didn't have too. I've pretty much played only Priest with a tiny bit of Druid and Paladin.

Chillfallen baron is honestly one of my favorite cards of all time, it's both super fair and honest, and also always feels good to play and pretty much never feels bad, God it's such good design

Frostmourne should really have been "Deathrattle: Summon any minion that died this turn"
this hs exp seemd rly balanced and fun. I rly hope they will rework the game and make EVERY class have spec cards to spec into, it would make deckbuilding much more fun and interesting
i could see bonelord frostwisper being played in like a weird ledros deck. it wouldnt be good but it would be funny

For interesting card text it sad that snnuy didn't get to see scourge rager. That has got to be the best text on a card.
Druid has one weakness at the moment. The biggest enemy. It's called board space. They need a card, so druid can play 10 minions on board, so Anub can be more broken.

Bonelord Frostwhisper in lor seems kinda busted not gonna lie. Play this in full ramp in frejlord, and play this on 6, then feel the rush on 7 and she who wanders on 8 (or swap those). You could even play this card on turn 4 or 5 if you ramp enough!
With the free card, you can even buried in ice + it that stares in the same turn.
Sure, if you play against ionia and they deny your feel the rush, you probably lose, but if any deck can survive three free frejlord lategame bombs deserves to win anyway.

I still cant believe they printed Patchwerk, he is basically 1 card to destroy 3, that is crazy from the resourse economy race standpoint
Remember when getting a card like frostmourne was a reason to play an 8-minute 88
Imagine Patchwerk getting nerfed to cost corpses. "Destroy a minion on the field. Spend 3 corpses to also destroy a minion on the deck and spend another 3 corpses to destroy a minion on the hand"
Costing corpses might make it more balanced, but it would be one of those things that needs a ridiculous cost (like 6+) since the baseline effect is an assassinate. Otherwise, they could make it so that it destroys things in both players hand/deck.

@@p.a.r.c1694 I meant instead of adding a corpse cost for the effect to proc, just make the effect symmetric (always procs).

@@p.a.r.c1694 The idea is that because the card almost always assassinates, hand rips, and can potentially snipe a key card in the deck (without any counterplay), the balance would be to disrupt your own plays as well (if you don't want to add the corpse cost).

I can’t build a board cause they have the 8 mana 5/5 and the 5 mana spell and patchwerk and the other minion that swaps cards in players’ hands keep taking away all my win conditions.

Malignant horror just needs to be "spend 5 corpses to summon a malignant horror". The buffs just aren't there in DK to make up for the failstate of it copying post-reborn version
Then kill off the post-reborn version yourself, it only has one hp. 5 corpses for 2/4 with reborn is a very bad payoff, the only reason this card can be somewhat playable is copying buffs, 4/6 horror actually won me 2 arena games today
Mtg came out with brothers war blue print cards and they have pretty much the same aesthetic direction as signature cards. But mtg is so much more of a serious and world grounded game and it makes sense to come out in there. Hearthstone just looks goofy with those.
Funnily enough, I've never managed to use Patchwerk successfully. Half the time the enemy has at least one small minion on the board so this isn't garunteed removal, destroying a card in their deck does nothing unless you're getting to fatigue, and hand is really hit or miss.
When you're fighting opponent that by turn 7 have 7 minions on board and like 8 cards in hand, It's just way too slow. You play this, you destroy one of their minions, and then they just kill you.
It might be insane in a non-toxic Meta, but Hearthstone has only rarely had a meta that doesn't kill you by turn 4.

I've been playing Handbuff Death Knight for a while and I really like it, and in it Malignant Horror is one of the big payoff cards.
It's just that the archetype itself isn't as strong as some of the other stuff in the game nowadays.
You definitely shouldn't run it in a non-handbuff deck though, that's one thing we can agree on.
