loved the review mate, did enjoy the bike shots, and the walking and talking, though cutting the ammount of times you do that to a shot of you talking with the bike and pointing to highlight bits of the bike could help. also not sure if anyone else is in the same boat, but i enjoy knowing a few features of the HUD, like if it has a fuel gauge, gear display, air tempreture, fuel consumption readout, the more fancy information that a bike can give pretty much. hope that helps mate. keep up the good work
Hey Nick, the video was amazing as always, just one thing was I missed so much....the sound from the motorcycle man!! I'm a huge fan of your videos with high revving sounds🙌🏻😇
Nick, great work. You mentioned that it could be appropriate with the higher seat (860mm?) for a slightly shorter rider? 6'2/3? I see they also do higher bars (20mm).
I thought that you did a good job on the review. I have a nephew who is the same height as you. His dad is 6'4". I have always wanted to be taller. I am 5'8" tall, but my inseam belongs to a man with a height of 5'4". That means my inseam is 26". When I pick a bike I am just as limited as you are, but for the opposite reason. A bike with a 30" seat height is tall for me. At a stop light I am on my toes. I don't swing a leg over the seat. I crawl onto the bike. Getting off is fun too. You put one leg down and then you hop, hop and hop off of the bike. When you are 65 years old and your balance isn't as good anymore, this can be a problem. I am seriously considering getting a sidecar so that I can continue to ride. When you have short legs that also means that you have short arms. You have to get different handle bars and cables to match. I dream a lot about being average height. Maybe next time around? Take care my friend. Vaughn
everything about this bike is good except the engine . its a vanila parallel twin with conventional firing order like the one found on ninja 650 etc . for this amount of money you can have something more exciting like striple
I wish I was tall like you, Nowadays I think it's contrary to what you sad, that motorcycles are more aim for taller people. I have a 32-inch inseam on a good day and I do not feel that I a good fit for many motorcycles.
I saw a woman who was 5'1" put a BMW 1170 GS with a seat height of 35" through its paces. She got the bike started and going while running alongside. She then threw herself onto the bike. One of the most amazing things I've ever seen. Vaughn
How tall are you again? No way are you tall, I would have never known....must be difficult being so tall, I bet you never tell anyone how tall you are....oh and then there is the bike review, I completely forgot.
Good video, I am 186cm tall and I’m afraid that I’m gonna look like a monkey on the l 🏈 on that thing😂.... I’m the proud owner of the Ninja 400 and this BMW caught my eye.... can you tell me does this bike look smaller than my Ninja or is it really smaller? Thanks
Excellent man!!! Love to see you back.... enjoyed every moment thoroughly!
One of best review ever. As a 195 cm or 6,4 wanted badly last 10 years
Loved this, just like your other videos! But you could probably do without the slow walk towards the camera in every other shot 👌🏽
Thanks for the feedback 🤘
@@nickvandervegt sure! Looking forward to the next one
Nicely done, greetings from the UK.
I feel like I just saw a review of Nick. But I like your honesty and the angle of a tall, newish rider
Great series Nick. Keep more episodes coming. All the best :)
Funny you posted this, cause I’ve been looking at this bike all day. It’s looking like the right bike for me.. right now.
I had a feeling you were looking at this bike

I was waiting to see how looks a tall person on this bike?! But no luck
Thanks for review
I’m not into motorcycle, but your videos always entertaining to watch. Well put together, the content, editing, everything 👍
Thanks so much! Have you ever ridden before?
Nick van der Vegt no I’m pretty much a noob to motorcycle, I’m a car enthusiast, drifting, racing and anything Motorsport.
@@waruiko77 well thanks for checking out the channel. Hope to have you stick around :)

Believe it or not, didn't even come to mind until I hit the upload button. Should've been the first thing in the video 😅
2:03 Nick, oh Nick. What on earth are you doing?😂😂😂😂
Vibin
I was thinking the same thing 🤔🤣
Glad to find a fellow tall rider!
Why are you using the clutch for up shifting?
Can you recommend a few bikes that fit us tall guys? Thanks for your help!
Nick, great work. You mentioned that it could be appropriate with the higher seat (860mm?) for a slightly shorter rider? 6'2/3? I see they also do higher bars (20mm).
Hey thanks Rob. Yeah an extra high seat is available. This bike could fit riders just above 6 feet.

Would like to see video takes of You in Your gear when You're Geared Up. Maybe also talk a little bit about the gear You're wearing at the time.
Great review! Does the rider feel any heat riding this bike, especially from under the seat?
Thanks Mike! Can't say that I noticed myself feeling any heat so I'm assuming that's a good thing.
Hi Mike, I am 6'4, am I too tall for this bike , too? Or would you think it fits me with the highest seat option? Thanks a lot!
Hi did you go for it? I’m also 6’ 4” and looking at this with the higher seat! If not what did you go for? Thanks
@@stacyford1711 yeah any news? im6'4 too
This model does have quickshifter and auto blip my friends.
dude how much milage does this bike gives
Good review brother
Thank you!

Hi Nick, can you help in my search for a bike for tall guys? Thanks
I want to see the bike not the reviewer .. hope this helps.. cinematic are really good though
Nice bike 👍🏻❤️👍🏻
V biker ✌️✌️✌️
I'm assuming you really get your step count up when you're filming?
Lol nice review though thanks for this.
Some were first try, the longer shots, not so much 😅
ha!
Please bring back your old intro song. Great video btw
That intro song hasn't gone anywhere don't worry! I just want to use different songs for the Geared Up series.

Hey Nick, Can I ride big bike even with a height of 5.2 feet or 160cm? XD

Sure you can, its a question of confidence and experience.
How many times did you change outfits in one video? LOL はい! 🇯🇵
Hahah shot on multiple days
🤣🤣🤣
It is a nice bike, but inherently top heavy, even compared to other BMW models.
How tall are you again? No way are you tall, I would have never known....must be difficult being so tall, I bet you never tell anyone how tall you are....oh and then there is the bike review, I completely forgot.
Why reddit tho?
Lots of other riders on the platform, good for branching out and reaching a wider audience.
You need to ride a hypermotard with your height.

where you walking to, damn
"Walking in newness of life. To walk in love. ...Sweet-smelling fragrance"
? 6 - 8? Damn bro. Try a Busa XD
Does anyone around 6’ have this bike?
I’m 6’1” and picked one up in the fall. No issues with me and I took the standard seat height and handlebars.
@@stephangahr994 oh good to know thanks
This is so dumb.
Care to explain?
