@magdump lmao looks like we have both been doing the same research on this thing. Any luck on your end? I keep hearing repeats about the Chinese engine but tbh that doesn’t really deter me
Yes, it is made in China but engineered and overseen by BMW. I wish it were not made there. That said, it has decent sound, good power, and has been very reliable for me. I do not get passed in the twisted, and with a touring screen, 85 mph on the highway is very bearable.
I spent ages test riding all kinds of nakeds before settling on one these (In blue!) and it's by far and away the best all rounder. It's basically a better engineered Ducati Monster. As for the snatchy throttle, just leave it in road mode. It's so much friendlier around town that way. Dynamic is way too rowdy for traffic. Update: Coming up to a year's ownership and I completely retract the comment about it being too rowdy in Dynamic. It now just permanently lives in Dynamic Pro mode, even in the rain. The bike in the whole has actually made me a much better rider in my opinion. One thing reviews don't get accross is how good BMW aftersales is. This video didn't appreciably demonstrate how this bike sounds. It has a 270° crank that makes it sound like a V-twin or an MT-07, and from the saddle the intakes have been designed to produce a very pleasant tone that is only going to be apparent to the rider, similar to an aftermarket intake, more muted than pod filters.

Once you add all those tech things it is more expensive than 9780£
With all those accessories you mention the F900R will
cost you about 12353£ The bike with almost no tech cost 9,780£ It must be false info to claim you get all those things with the bike for 9,780£
You almost get nothing from all the things you mention that is on the bike for £9,780 :/
You can go to bmw homepage and add all the packages they sell for the bike and watch yourself.
Subscribed for great video
Are those under the backseat, panniers 🤔❕
Regards
Joy
No, they are the mounting points for panniers.
Hi! How tall are you!? Regards
Hill start assist? couldnt see it on their website
Not available.
Go inline 4 anyday ....Z900.
Front forks are terribile, a shame for such a new expensive bike. They fall down in a while if you brake strong, wich is very easy with this not exactly progressive brakes Inside there is not an actual complete suspension. Changed the inside with an Andreani kit. Abother world another music. But you have to pay...
The electronics are awesome, but the suspension kills it, for me.
I'm really becoming a BMW simp lol
I'm not a fan of all the tech - it's more stuff to go wrong. It's the feel of the motor that matters to me.
They re made the bmw husqvarna nuda 105hp and 100nm torque and 179kg ... Less powerfull and heavier 10 years later!!! Shame.
La mejor
You present this as though excessive tech is attractive. It puts me off a bike. More to go wrong, and keep it long enough, it will. I like the actual bike, though; good-looking. and the fact the engine is made in China doesn't bother me. I don't want a keyless bike.
Nice bike but it seems a little safe and overpriced for the performance and spec.
Lots of tech, bmw dealers will love the maintenance charges.
In my point of view, riding should be pure and simple so I'd tather have the R9T over this F900R.
I ride a 2019 Benelli Leoncino 500 by the way. And I love it.
😂I bet you never drove one, if you have a Leoncino 500 you would be blown away with this bike, a totally diferent beast, yes the 9t its a complete diferent bike, not better! Not prettier! Not faster! Much diferent, and more expensive 😉✌️
This cheapo bike is fine as long as you don't mind the fact that BMW dealers try to conceal the Chinese origins of the engine. No wonder its a rattily piece of crap compared to precession engineered and refined Japanese motorcycles
Loncin F900R, another marketing ploy to fool the brand conscious.
Fully aware of the location of the engine manufacturing plant, still confident it is the best offering in its class for my purposes.
faster in the corners? that bike has the biggest chicken strips i have ever seen....must have been really slow on the R90.
Tech...nah...just enjoy riding.
But the sound is so boring, more like a 150cc scooter
This video didn't appreciably demonstrate how this bike sounds. It has a 270° crank that makes it sound like a V-twin or an MT-07, and from the saddle the intakes have been designed to produce a very pleasant tone that is only going to be apparent to the rider, similar to an aftermarket intake, more muted than pod filters.
Sorry my fault,anyway thanks man
I love tech!
I wouldn't buy this thing.
Chinese engine 😂
@miteor Are all BMW engines made in ChyNa? My main reason for avoiding BMW motorcycles.
M_ Dawg Most are made in Germany
@@miteor These engines are made in China and the bike is assembled in Germany
Sierra Nevada They are indeed 😊
@@m_dawg2432 It is disappointing that this engine is made in China.
The BMW is a very, Very ugly bike. Why.....
Yeah, I’m not sure why they went Japanese Transformer style on this thing... It does not look good at all. I agree.
Glad not everyone like the same i found it much prettier then any of the Mts from yamaha😎👌
Thank YOU very much 😊
