Last year Tourism arrivals in philippines was double..big thanks for promoting philippines worldwide.foriegn vloggers was one of the big part of that succes and you are one of that ...big thank you
“Kuya” means big brother so little kids really don’t answer to that.. A little boy is generically named “Totoy” in Tagalog while a little girl is called “Nene”. In Bisaya it’s “Dong or Dodong” and “Day or Inday”. Recommendations in the area: -take the raft at Pandin, it comes with lunch that includes the fern salad that Laguna is known for.. the raft will take you to the other end of the lake where you can walk towards it’s twin lake-Yambo.. -coffee: Cafe Lago at Sampaloc Lake -dinner: Sulyap (it’s an old ancestral home converted to a restaurant) -you might also want to visit Liliw, Laguna.. the church is old and beautiful -another interesting spot is the underground cemetery at Nagcarlan, Laguna
It's Laguna and I love my province.. It has more Falls to visit in Laguna.. Like the Twin Falls in Kalayaan.. The Caliraya Lake.. The Pagsanjan Falls.. Hulugan Falls in Luisiana.. Buntot Palos Falls in Pangil.. Bukal Falls in Majayjay..Cavinti Underground River and Caves Complex.. Too Many to mention..✌😊
The views on the roadtrip in this vlog is really really nice, the trees, the greenery, the coconut trees, the sites. Very pleasing to the eyes. Thanks for showing this to us. I have not been to this part of Laguna.
I am one of the 104,000,000 Filipinos who have never been to these lakes, though i am from Southern Tagalog myself. Thanks for taking us there! And ... ikaw si George. Ha ha ha, nice that you're picking it up.
Guys you are in south. This may be a month ago but you are in my province. You just pass through our town and I’m proud of guys. I wish I was there to tour you guys and meet you in pagsanjan but dang, I miss our place. There are a lot of tourist spots in the province of Laguna, you just have to have a subscriber like willing to tour you everywhere and lend you a hand. Each town you guys pass through has its own variety products to flex. But, URRRRGGHHHH! I wish I was there with you guys. Anyway, take good care of your health George and Lucy. Continue to inspire all of us. You are Blessed.
PO in our language is to show RESEPECT, i see his parents brought him up very well...Kudos to them.. and i genuinely appreciate lucy and george for letting him take you everywhere. for the small kids- dodong or totoy. Kuya for the older ones.
Pagsanjan (pronounced as pug-sun-hun) and the waterfalls there was a favorite tourist destination before the southern Philippines was developed as the tourist place to be. Lots of beautiful spots to visit, including Villa Escudero. You can easily spend a few weeks there and still not visit and enjoy all the things they have to offer.
U guys should also visit Lake Caliraya on the top of the mountain, that lake is a hydroelectric power plant that pumps up the water from the Laguna lake all the way to the top ang release it to create a source of power that generates emergy ..a lot of exotic resto at the foot of the hill
You guys are really amazing. There are a lot of beautiful places still and thanks for taking us there. ...had a good laugh when you introduced your guide George. Nice one! 👍 Enjoy and take care guys!
There is another place to visit in Laguna. The Magnetic Hill. Put your car in Neutral and watch it being pulled upwards towards the hill. Some people say the road is actually going downwards, an optical illusion.
Oh my, the tour guide just ignored Sir George. Sorry about that. Most of these kids (as local tour guides) were taught by their parents and their barangay officials not socialize with local tourists & also to foreigners as well. The reason is: for these kids' own personal safety.
Beautiful aerial shots... the view is amazing, like it was taken from a postcard!!! Thank you so much George and Lucy for showing us some of hidden gems of our country... too bad we cant travel as often as you guys do. We appreciate all your efforts. God bless you both.🙂
Enjoy life in the Philippines, George and Lucy . Please take care and drive safely. God bless you always and Good health. Watching in Brisbane, Australia...
Nice for you guys speaking the language bit by bit..that's how you learn quick and more people to correct you so you will fully understand..one-two words a day and meanings will give you guys 7 to 14 words a week without straining as to what it means and how it is being used.
I don't know what it is about your vlogs that I like more but somehow, I am hooked! Yours, like Mike and Nelly's, are more genuine. Not sure if that's the correct term but yeah, I guess genuine. I watch other travel vlogs and I just don't feel any connection. Sure, their videos are great with all the drone shots and professional video effects but there's no connection at all. With your videos, I feel like I'm travelling with you. I get to appreciate places that I've never thought of wanting to explore. It's actually quite emotional watching your videos. I wish I traveled more. Looking forward to watching your next travel vlogs once everything's back to normal (but of course I also watch your daily vlogs). And lastly, POWERRRRRRRR (something I learned from George).
Beautiful Laguna. The 7 crater lakes are not aggressively promoted by tourism officials. I knew that they exist but haven't seen them personally. The drone videos would explain the beauty of nature in that area.
you actually drove through my small hometown!!! also, the long roads are in Tanay, Rizal and there's so much to see there as well 😄 I love driving through there, feels like roads in Napsan or Subic. It's a small foodie town and hosts a lot of restaurants that feature delicious local cuisine 👍
I highly recommend you the "Daang kalikasan" Here in pangasinan. but Daang Kalikasan Road is Temporary Closed should visit the road when it open again.
Have you visited Villa Escudero? It’s on the boundary of San Pablo Laguna and Tiaong, Quezon. It’s perhaps 30 minutes more or less due south from the town proper of San Pablo. Definitely worth visiting! Safe travels. Great job of blogging.
Those Windmills are actually The Pillilia Windmills, you could go there like close up, and the scenery ther is insane. And best of all, it's free. We go there on the weekends to watch the sunrise, and it's so beautiful. Welcome to my province George and Lucy!! 🥰😌😌👏

But the kid actually DID respond when she called him kuya. So I reckon "kuya" also works with kids.
I'am a filipino in 🇺🇸, a stranger in my own land. Thanks to you Jorge & Lucy for the virtual tour.

This sounds crazy 🤣
True they can be called totoy. But we usually just call the kids "Bata", which means "bata".
Oh my, the tour guide just ignored Sir George. Sorry about that. Most of these kids (as local tour guides) were taught by their parents and their barangay officials not socialize with local tourists & also to foreigners as well. The reason is: for these kids' own personal safety.
