Hi Darren, do you feel safe charging the battery in the motorhome, that would be my only concern, but I love those chunky tyres and the idea of power at your finger tips, get you up the hills
Hi Daz looks lovely where you are. Liam is such a cutie, I love it when they are that little because everything is amazing for them. I don't think you should get angry with vegans, they aren't the ones imposing the mayo on you it's the restaurant! I agree that they are out of order. Like they sale meat FFS. So it has nothing other than cost cutting for them. Clearly there should be a choice between the two.
The weird thing is that vegan mayo tastes better than standard mayo. Found this out by accident and now only buy vegan mayo and I’m DEFINITELY NOT vegan.
Leccy bikes are only street legal with motors up to 250 Watts. Above that and they are classed as electric motorbikes. You risk getting that bike confiscated as it is 750 watts and not legal to ride UK or EU streets.
Rather than throwing your toys out the pram at the poor server which will ultimately achieve nothing it’s is important to understand WHY a huge amount of restaurants have already switched to vegan Mayo without you even knowing. Most large chains repackage mayo in to their own dispensers. So Main reason is condiments being left out lead to a significant increase in bacterial load Vs vegan Mayo. Also in a recent industry publication where 12 Mayo brands were blind tested Hellman's vegan Mayo was the clear winner with 38% of the almost 1000 participants ranking it as there top pick for taste and freshness. This probably won’t change your opinion but from a corporate perspective if you have something that tastes better is safer and means all your customers with egg allergies are safe it is a no brainer.
Interesting, the compliance & safety team making policy. The way bottles of mayo stay out of the fridge for lengths of time, this I understand, they don’t want to be sued for making people 🤢 sick
I am 78 and have had a good and happy life. I couldn’t care what anyone else thinks. Why do people take offence at what any one else says. Its their opinion and they are entitled to it . Is it something in the water or does the younger generation think they have to be aggrieved about everything.
100 percent agree with you Daz over the vegan mayo, nothing against people who choose to be vegan for whatever reason but you have a right to have normal mayo and like you said, they were serving meat so it really doesn't make sense!?! About a month or so ago I got a free gift with my online ocado shopping and that was a vegan mayo! I haven't touched it and am looking to give it to someone, I mean they can't even give the stuff away lol. Had an argument once with one of my nieces who turned vegetarian whilst her boyfriend is vegan, I asked the question, if we were all to go vegan, what would happen to cows and pigs, it isn't like people would keep them as pets, they would have no use anymore and probably go extinct. Someone I used to work with used to rant about people who said they were vegan and yet still used leather shoes, handbags etc. Sorry, but I like meat, I hate that we have to kill animals to eat but I like the end product! Now if I had to kill my own food that would be a different story! I am just waiting for the next thing where we are told vegetables have feelings too lol
I love you and your videos Daz, but the comment about being a vegan is like punching yourself in the face was a bit uncalled for. You can get some great vegan alternatives. If you tried some you might actually like them. I agree though that they should have had both types of mayo especially when meat is on the menu. I’m happy to live and let live (especially the animals!) Apart from that your videos are great and your nephew is totally adorable. Definitely the star of the show. Xxx

I said to the waitress that was a shame as I would have liked that, she offered to make it with real ice cream, I pointed out that the brownie would still be vegan. Oh yes she said.. so I ordered a normal sundae that also had brownie in it. I have no problem with anyone being Vegan but agree with you, 11:12 no one should be forced and what a mixed message if they are selling meat products! Sounds like they had no egg mayonnaise left, a good restaurant caters for both unless they are full vegan.
Totally agree with your vegan rant Darren, being vegan, veggy or a meat eater is a personal choice and none of them should be forced on anyone you would think that somewhere like center parks would offer all of these alternatives
Center Parcs is private although as the public have access to the site I would be cautious using an electric bike, especially on the roads there, just in case you had an altercation with another vehicle....if that happens and the police are called you could have your electric bike confiscated, not trying to be a party pooper just letting you know how it is.
Love the rant about vegan's I work in the fish and chip business when we get them in they can't wait to tell you they're vegan. But when they ask for a burger or sausage they want it to look and taste like a meat one??? Go figure 😂😂😂. Keep up the good work 👍

No need to apologise to anyone. I totally agree with your Vegan rant. They are the minority so why are they catering to them and then serving.chicken, just madness. Good rant Darren 😂
Did you even try the vegan one? Fact: I make my own mayo all the time Fact: The only non-veg component is an egg Fact: Mayo is grossly unhealthy, be it ot vegan or not, due to its 95% oil content Fact: You can emulsify all that oil with something other than an egg and it tastes just the same. Fact: I'm a foodie - I cook and bake everything and I know what I'm talking about. Next time, try the vegan one - it will still be 95%oil.
I am confused, the only difference between the bike and scooter is a set of pedals. Is this how they are defined? Its a bit like mayonaise, an egg is the difference and probably palm oil for the vegan one. I wish manufacturers would stop messing with our food, if there is no egg its not mayonnaise. I think you should do a recipe vlog. Stand up for real food😊
Dazza,💯 agree with you on the vegan stuff. No way we should be forced to put all those fake chemicals in our bodies! It should be choice! Great video Dazza, as always found it really interesting and fun 👍
Tbh i think its a fair point, non vegans are automatically expected to comply with vegan eating habits as if its taken for granted they will be okay not getting animal protein. If a vegan went to a omnivore restaurant, and were only offered mayo made with egg, without a doubt they would complain that their dietry needs were not being met. Lets have a level playing field andequal rights for all. For the record for people who were critical of Darren… he is doing Keto, vegan mayo contains potato starch and corn starch - not present in hellmans original and NOT Keto friendly.
Daz, totally agree with you on the vegetarian issue, it's a personal or maybe medical reason why people go to be a vegetarian, but if it's this or nothing attitude that's bad.
It makes no sense, we went to Las Iguanas in Longleat, my daughter has an egg allergy and i told them that at the start, so they told me not to get her chips because of cross contamination!!! So, chips, a naturally “vegan approved” food, was likely to be contaminated with egg, but they couldn’t give you real mayo???
Someone explained very well above why most restaurants have swapped to vegan mayonnaise for food safety and allergy reasons. Plus it tastes the same, or better than ones with egg in! Many foods and condiments are vegan, just because they don't label mustard vegan, or tomato sauce doesnt make it non vegan! If it was in a plain container, and not stated you wouldn't have known the difference! Disappointed in your reaction really.
I totally support your right to rant about anything you like in your videos on your channel. You make a great point, if it was the other way around the vegans would be up in arms about it. For some reason it’s ok for non vegans to eat vegan products but not ok for vegans to eat animal products. The main ingredient to mayo is eggs, so like most vegan substitutes it’s not mayo at all. It’s a non egg gloop, made with who knows what. Recent studies suggest a link between over processed vegan foods and disease. So not offering real mayo but an over processed potentially unhealthy alternative isn’t only possibly bad for you but infringes on your right to choose the types of food you can eat. These corporate overlords need to be called out on these policies.
