all the watches with this type of band are always too big for my skinny little wrists and i thought i had to take it to a watch repair place to get it resized. now that i know how to now, i can finally wear watches! yay! thanks!

Yes, they are made that way so that people with big wrists dont have to buy extra links.

Hi guys, I am a watch enthusiast and collector, this way of resizing is correct to some degree however, you should not push the link pins out from the side with the arrows, this will cause damage to the chambers, you should push the pins out from the opposite side of the arrows. When placing pins back in, you would place the pins on the side marked with arrows. Hope this helps :)

seriously, so helpful. I’ve had this watch in my wardrobe for soo long but have never been able to wear it cause my wrist is too small. All the tips work, but I found the towel a little hard to use. I have a table that can be folded and made smaller so I used the space in between that and it worked like a charm!

I' ll just add something: if you have an odd numer of pieces to remove, e.g. 5 - you should take off 3 pieces of the 6 symbol side and 2 pieces of the 12 symbol side..this way the watch won't spin on your wrist :)

THANK YOU THIS HELPED SO MUCH !!!! I used a safety pin and pliers to hold it to push out the round part and a small screw driver to use as a hammer 😁😁😁😁

I wished these videos actually showed how hard you have to bang on pin to get the to come out even a little. This one is basically love taps and the pin comes half way out. I hammered the pin very hard and it didn't come out much. Tweezers couldn't even grab it. Go to the jeweler

I can’t get my clasp open and I need to extend my watch because it stops at the palm of my hand!!!! Do you have a technic for doing this ? I really need the help and I’ve been using a knife and where I tried using my fingernails to get underneath it to open it I chop my fingernail in two places

I tried this and I was able to take the links out successfully. But when I was trying to put the pin back in to connect the remaining links together , the pin that holds the clasp to the links fell out and now it's lost. This is my second same exact watch that broke before so Amazon sent me a new one . So I can just use the pin from the old watch to replace the pin in the new watch..... I wish I had better luck😂😔😂. But this was a very helpful video and I love all your videos!!💟

If you don't have a small screwdriver, you can use the pin of a SIM card slot. :)
