It's been a couple of weeks! Life has been so hectic and it's been an emotional rollercoaster. I wanted to document what a typical day of working as a Business Analyst looks like in a start-up in Vancouver! In this video, I talk about my struggles of being an introvert at work....and the career crisis I've been facing recently. I hope you enjoy :)

Nice vlog, admirable to workout in the morning AND you gotta commute. My workplace is in Richmond but my manager's been cool with me working from home in Coquitlam most days. I'm definitely introvert as well. The days I do go in office I don't even feel like chatting much with co-workers, and little things like someone typing loudly distracts me now lol. Fellow Taiwanese!

I totally get you!!! Something about being at home is so comforting. At work, I put my airpods on and drown in podcasts/music and forget that I'm at the office sometimes 🤣

Conrgrats and good luck at your new job! I hope you have lots of warm welcomes at your new company. Separating business and personal life, I would say I enjoy my job overall - there are a lot of great things I'm learning and smart people I'm learning from. I hope you will feel the same way! In the end, I know I have a small group of friends who have my back no matter what, and that's what keeps me going. ☀️

I am normally a quiet watcher. But if u watch this: There are always people who will support u. So keep on doing your things and do not give up! As an introvert person myself i know ts hard to find a conversation with other people sometimes. But do not overthink to much. Be yourself and people will automatically notice your honesty🫶

If you're aiming for a data job, definitely know SQL super well - enough to call yourself advanced (practice LeetCode Mediums) and know basic Python! Depending on the company, though, they might require you to know more Python than SQL. There are lots of useful courses on Coursera -- I took this one before I started my job: www.coursera.org/specializations/business-analytics !

Girl, I'm also an INTJ but I have the INTJ-A meaning there is no part of me that is passive and conflict avoidant. I've seen your responses to questionable commenters and I hope one day you'll be able to speak up for yourself cause there are people who will try to dismiss you and you have to talk back to them in order to not become a doormat to their ego. Just my 2 cents.

The more you attach that label to yourself....and call yourself that....the more you will remain that way. It's a bit disturbing to see this kind of stuff....and people think it's somehow a courageous thing....lol. It's actually more of a victim thing, than anything else.
I think that's a fair point! I kind of lock myself to the idea that Im an introvert! The point of my video was to express my struggles rather than to blame other people for my struggles though :) so I'm sorry if it came off that way! Thank you for stopping by my channel either way
What in the lack of comprehension? Introverts get energy from not socializing but staying inside and doing independent activities, extroverts get their energy from being social butterflies, ambiverts are comfortable with being social butterflies but need to recharge their energy like introverts.
Come on now how is that victimizing? It's just how people enjoy their time and recharge differently.

It's true for me & most introverts I believe 🤣 I find that since everything is much more spread out here, it's hard to make friends unless it's from work. But maybe that's just me :')
