I like this pick , at 6' 2" he will fit in nicely with Noah Chadwick 6' 4" , Nicolas Mattinen 6' 6" and Cade Webber 6' 6". The future defense is looking BIG at least.

Yeah i was disappointed to not get both Solberg and Emery but Danford looks like a good solid prospect so i'll be anxious to see Danford with another year of experience under his belt. That 2nd rd pick they picked up will be even more important to hit on

My first reaction was to throw my TV out the window when they traded down lol but hearing this guy may have the best defensive instincts in the draft and right shot good NHL size at 6'2 190 lbs I began to calm down. Then I realised we picked a 2 and to move down. Then I Realised they could do same thing tomorrow use the 2nd to move back a spot or two and maybe pick up a late 3rd rd pick. So Tree could turn a 23rd pick into a late 1st, 2nd and 3rd rd picks to fill out the draft just by moving back a few spots. As well there are some good players rated for 1st rd still available. They could get another good big right shot D like Elick or Colton Roberts. That would be awesome.
