I love this car and still have one with only 61,000 miles on the clock. I have had 6 of these in my life and vaxhual caltons before that. I remember going to the German alps on the autobahn at great speed for a long time. Their engines are bullet proof.
This is a great second hand car. Nice engine, luxury, somewhat reliable, cheap parts and all this for very little money compared to an E class or BMW 5 series from the same era.

The car itself is not a sporty car. It's more of a luxury car, yeah it has a v6 but that's just optional, you have better sporty Versions of omega like irmscher. We had a 2.5 v6 irmscher b1 karavan, crazy car... Like it had a crazy Magnat speaker sistem, the speakers were behind your ears, just like in the new mercedes S classes... Now we own a 2,2 16v b2 sedan that's also a great car... Really Nervy engine...but really good. Nice vid. Take care

I love this Car. It‘s my first Car. Have the 2.0L Gasoline 136hp. It‘s so much fun. It‘s like an Airspace. Big Car. You can drift it so good in the Winter. Even for a „little“ Gasoline Engine in this Heavy Car, i need 8-9L. What is not bad in my opinion. The 2.0L also runs a good 210.
Theres just something better about watching someone drive everyday cars around daily vs another person driving cars that u know u can't/won't be able to drive

This is one hell of a car, absolute legend. My dad used to have it for a long time. It was a fun car to drive. Took us many places, camping and all that. Unfortunately it was crashed badly by my dads friend ;( So long Omega... It would be fun if Opel would reboot the production of this car.
i still got my omega.. not a v6 though but when its raining it gets quite tailhappy some people i knew called it ugly.. but i dont care when im sitting in it.. it has potential.. because its a a shared platform you can engine swap these with an LS1 and LS3 without cutting a single piece of metal to fit it..

But in general,these cars still have no value. Most used cars reflect that in the way they have been treated. One "problem" is; this car just runs - even if stuff is failing. Broken head gasket, faulties in the intake system, automatic issues (I know video shows manual), Parts of the front axle get loose (need replacement), Regularly. Not even talking about corrosion....
I just got the beautiful dark blue 2001 2.2dti omega sedan with whole bunch of useless retro technology like cd chargers, telephone, crap color display with useless navigation and I love it. I paid 700eur for the whole car.
I thought that the 2.6 is the automatic gearbox version, the manual version is the 2.5. I owned a 1997 2.5 v6 vectra, it was a cool car with a nice sound (0-100 in 8.4 s) Nice video Thanks
