Thank you for sharing your routine. I could never get by with a cleansing balm alone! I simply order a 6 pack of terry cloth wristbands from Amazon and there’s no mess! No water dripping down my arms and they go in the washer every few days. Skincare is so very individualized and I’m prone to rosacea too. I avoid fragrance and stick with products that I know are effective for my skin.

Just a FYI for you. Amazon sells a Terry cloth set of a hair band and 2 wrist bands so the water won't run up your arm when washing your face. They work great. They also sell a pkg of 16 bamboo face clothes. They are small and very soft so you can use a new one every night if you want. I have hears alot of good things about Elemis so thank you for doing this video do we can learn more about them and ser how well they work.

Good to know I'm not the only one who hates all that water running down my arms😊

Finally someone else who hates washing their face because the water runs down your arms! Thought I was a lone wolf😀
I frequently change my face soap. Currently using a Cerave product. It’s okay. No matter what toner and moisturizer I use, I always come back to Clinique. The Elemis balm sounds like a great night time cleaning option. Thank you Nancy!❣️

I also love the Elemis cleansing balm! I really love the 2 other scents as well (water mint & rose).

Like you, Nancy, I dislike washing my face at the sink. The water running down my arms and the big mess of water on the counter and dripping on the floor bother me. So, I lean over the bathtub and wash my face splashing and rinsing as much as I want. No mess and no water on the arms.
I had a facial at the spa on a cruise and Elemis products were used. My skin felt smooth for a few days. Amazing,

My skin care and makeup is all from Mary Kay. I have very sensitive skin at 68 and I have had no reaction. I use the makeup remover, morning and evening regimes, serums and skin boosters. I also use a song c brush for cleansing and a massaging attachment to apply my serums.
Like you I do not like water running down my hands to my wrist.
    I ❤your channel.

My routine has changed due to discovering that as well as having sensitive skin, I have mild eczema. I have found that Avene XeraCalm A.D Lipid-replenishing Cleansing Oil and AvèneXeraCalm A.D lipid-replenishing cream are the only products that don't burn my skin. I'm not a fan of the water running down my arms either, but it's a small price to pay for me to not have other issues. You have a great channel and your products obviously work for you as your skin is glowing. All the best from Ontario, Canada.

I’m 72. I’ve sunbathed and smoked and used tanning beds too. It’s just what we did “back in the day”. I’ve washed my face with Purity Made Simple for years. I love it bc it cleans so well smells lovely and doesn’t burn my eyes. Then I use a serum with hyaluronic acid and a cream called Vitaplex that smells heavenly by a little company in Los Angeles named Raya. My aesthetician used it. I got some from her and I’ve ordered it online and now Amazon has. They always send samples so I try those out and use some of them. I do that twice a day. Every other night or third night I use Retin A.

I love Elemis! The balm is my favourite product. I use it to remove makeup and I find that bit works best for me when I warm it up in my hands first. I use a combination of Paula’s choice and Cerave products.

I use Pond’s “Fragrance Free” Cold Cream. Works great to remove makeup (eyes too) & is non-irritating. The regular Ponds cold cream stung my eyes a little, so make I sure it’s the “Fragrance Free” one as they both look alike. Reasonably priced & works as good as others I’ve tried

I was like you, hated to splash water on my face or the same reason. However, even with a soft washcloth, it's like exfoliation, and if or when I use an exfoliation product, my skin becomes too sensitive. So one day, I was in the sports section of my store and saw wristbands (those for tennis players) and decided to use those which prevents water from rolling down my arms... Now, I love splashing water on my face and patting my skin with that washcloth. Find it less irritating and skin dragging. To each their own 😊

I use a band to hold my hair back. And I have short hair. Some of them come with things you put on your wrists. They save my pajamas arms in the winter from getting wet. I use a Tao brush to clean my face. That way I don’t use a lot of water. I use Neutrogena to cleanse my face. And I don’t wear makeup. But I have to get my sunscreen and moisturizer off from the day. I use Curology, but I’ve been doing it every other night. My skins gets too dry. I don’t use toner. I have tried several different kinds. And I don’t really like it. Then I put some over the counter retinol on my neck. It’s very sensitive. And then I put it on my face too. I don’t like to spend a lot of time on my face. I don’t care about spending money on products. As long it doesn’t take forever. And then I sleep on a silk pillowcase, which looks like it has a lot of my products on it. It’s a darker color so I notice it more. I also put No 7 lash serum on my eyebrows and I just bought castor oil to use on my eyelashes. I have sensitive eyes and can’t use the No 7 on them. I use eye cream sometimes. I should use it all the time. I always have dark circles, I think they are hereditary.

Thanks for sharing this skincare routine. I wanted to suggest you make your own chapters because RUclips made them from the Transcript and got words mixed up. Instead of "Balm" it uses "Bomb". It's very jarring for someone like me who lives in Northern Ireland! ☮
