Its because its focus is on not just italy, but also ethiopia. The new update also adds a bunch of cool paths for ethiopia so the war is much more important if you play them. They also mentioned switzerland as the meeting point because its also getting massive updates as well. Finally, the last reason is because the war against ethiopia ended up making italy not very prepared for ww2, it weakened them more than they thought and it contributed to their failures in other areas later on.
I feel a bit conflicted about this announcement. We still saw nothing about the la resistance improvements that were teased. I hope we don’t get lowballed with those.

I feel like Belgium will never get a focus tree The right time to give Belgium a DLC was during Man the Guns when the Netherlands got a DLC I doubt there'd be any time to fit it in at this point, except if maybe they had a DLC for leftover European nations (at this point just Albania, Austria, Belgium and Luxembourg) But the right time to make a focus for these has already passed in my opinion.

I think this is all fun and well, but actually thinking about it the region of South East Asia would be a fun minor to experience as it changed hands during the war (I think it would work well with the resistant mechanic, like having French Indochina focus all about rising the resistant level during the focus tree and based on the focus a big revolution break out in different ideologies)

The desinger is really basic, even compared to the tank designer. We can't choose what kind of a wing do we want, do we want to use a radial engine or inline one, there are no fuel techs for different engine fuels, it's just incredible how lazy the air designer is.
Hoi4 needs a division designer rework, manpower to frontline rework, province rework, and production rework along with a naval death stack removal in my opinion
