I am an 87 year old man who is loving women playing soccer and basketball and softball. Very exciting games with incredible talent. I’m hooked. Keep up the pressure. I read the NYTimes online and crave reporting on women’s sports, to my huge disappointment. You are doing the work. Hooray,.
I would LOVE if you two had Sam (Mewis) on-and show up on an episode of Friendlies! I watch both every single week and love them equally. And I love the idea of each podcast helping to lift the other up, given women are so often pitted against each other (to your point). :)
Because she is pure, wonderful and amazing with the most beautiful eyes. ❤Ali❤. Both Tobin & Christen are also amazing and i love them as a couple. Keep walking, all the best to all of you guys❤
I think Ali’s charm is that she gives off is the vibe of just good people. She’s the type of person who you’d want as a best friend and teammate. She gives off the vibe of, using Brene Brown’s analogy, not a candle blower-outer
CP and Tobin seem the most open and at ease with their teammates which translates into the best of all the episodes. Thank you for the honesty, transparency and the protection you all still show for each other! Space for all AND iron sharpens iron.
Ali Krieger is a national treasure. She is the 8th world wonder. She is all the great lakes and all the national monuments combined. Ali Krieger watered my crops and cleared my skin. Ali Krieger is absolutely everything.
Thursdays are for The Re- Cap Show!! Loved this one. Love Krieger. Wishing her much success in her post playing days. And how I miss you three on the field together. Some USWNT glory days right there for sure. ⚽️💪💯
Great interview! Ali is one of a kind; human, real, kind, reflective, honest and a badass! The Recap is an important entity, not just in sports but in life lessons and perspectives.
Ali Krieger is indeed an icon. I am one of her ferocious fans, have travelled all over the country to watch her play and support whatever team she is a part of. We were there in person at the 2019 World Cup Final in Lyon, France. What more storybook ending than the US winning the championship with the ball finishing at Ali's feet!! #11 forever. Thank you, C&T and your Re-Cap Show for this amazing episode. Love your content!!
Such a special episode with these 3 absolute football legends. Seeing them together again like this as a long time fan feels quite emotional. Ali Krieger is definitely one of the most beloved USWNT players and this interview was filled with so much love, respect and warmth that was all so palpable.
My Krieger fever from 2011 is still ongoing! Love you forever, AK11❤ An icon for sure, as are Tobin and Christen being such trailblazers with RE--INC ✨
My 3 absolute queens... love you so much, gals. Thank you for this platform. This show is an oasis in the middle of the overwhelming desert that is patriarchal sport. Thank you for your effort and the great work reinc team .
Wow… that was such a good episode …..Tobin and Christin you were so respectful with your questions and comments to Ali…there were a couple personal topics and all three of you were so kind to each other ….it is very obvious how much you all mean to each other …keep up the good work … Ali you are more loved then you know ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much, both of you, for choosing to approach this company so thoughtfully and intentionally. You are representing the beauty of what women in these conversations and sports businesses bring to the world. Thanks for sharing your deep insights with us and your hearts. ❤
I have followed the careers of you 3 ladies for a long time and I particularly admire you all for being bold by going abroad to develop both professionally and personally, and you were much the better for having done so.
So interesting hearing Tobin and Christen talk about Ali being dropped in 2017. Ali's spoken about it many times since then, but I don't think I've ever heard any other players from that period mention it and how nonsensical it was! Still so bizarre that she was never given an explanation or feedback
you are right. I consume them all. I watch the NFL, WNBA, college basketball (men and women's), college football, the USL Champions league, the NWSL, and USWNT - and Olympics. I don't consume external content about all of them. But I listen to you guys, The Women's Game, and Full Time over at the Athletic and I follow Just Women's Sports (who covers some sports I don't watch- like hockey). Competition breeds innovation.
I could go on. What you talk about and the way you do it is a 180 contrast to how men talk about spots. You explore the range of emotions, including fear and grief, which men almost never mention. With men we so often get bravado, bragging and it is all external. Same is true with the actual sports you often get dunking, goon activity in hockey and in soccer men getting fouled and rolling around like they are dying. Women's games tend to focus on skills and cooperation. And women's soccer truly is the "beautiful game". I love it.
Love the insights on the business of women’s sports. Such a unique take that 🎯. Also love the storytelling that happens in your interviews. It’s everything we want to see and hear
Hello Kristen and Tobin. I love Sam Mewis' show. I also enjoyed seeing Midge Purce do analysis on a show during the World Cup. The depth of knowledge is what makes these videos so watchable. The shows with several sports and a presenter who has not played cannot have that. I commented before that the potential way forward is not to play US men's sports, but international sports with a level of participation that allows development, like football did thirty years back. Rugby and Cricket have women's World Cups with an international audience. I can only speak for UK, but basketball is not really followed here to a great extent, for example. NFL has an audience, but based on US teams playing the odd game. Baseball also tried to get an audience, but is a novelty. There are no real equivalents of World Cups as they are US based. I would love to see you doing videos with, for example, UK or Australian former players who host TV shows for their sport, showing action from games.
Over an hour long episode, yet it still felt too short since Ali Krieger is too legendary of a player. I really hope this isn't the last time we get to see and experience the 3 of you together like this. So much knowledge and wisdom between y'all to share. Which is another reason why we need more shows and content about women's football, so that there can be more opportunities for knowledgeable people like yourselves to come together and give us quality conversations. Traditional media just doesn't cut it enough, as previously talked about with Abby and Glennon. I'll take Sam Mewis talking to me a little too close to her computer screen from her house than anything ESPN could ever produce (and I hope they keep producing them, obviously, but you get the point -- the more, the merrier).
Noooo sports media pls don’t make the Recap Show and The Women’s Game fight to last woman standing…they all have knee injuries 😭 Jokes aside we are so lucky to have access to such incredible content from you all. There’s so much to learn!! It’s so exciting!!!!
These eps drop in the middle of the night Australia time so I always have something to look forward to when I wake up on a Friday morning. Thank you for all that you do :)
I absolutely loved this show! I I agree that there is space for multiple podcasts or shows about women’s soccer. I personally listen to Attacking Third, the recap, Sam Mewis ❤, and a podcast on Liga Femenil Mx. keep up the good work!
Knowing you have been a before and after in my life, every aspect of you... on and off the field. Everything you say and do is pure oxygen to fight with my mental health, day by day.
Recently had a discussion with a guy that said that women’s sports aren’t available because women don’t want to play because it’s too competitive 😂 thanks for validating my arguments
Podría decir tantas cosas de ti Ali, pero quiero que sepas que llegue amar el fútbol por ti, aprendí a respetar tu comunidad por ti, no te imaginas cómo te amamos. 🇩🇴
I love these! my only request is if you could not have the candle on the left ignited, the reflection of it in the screen is distracting and my lil ND brain really cant focus on the conversations! i have to keep blocking that camera angle shot in that spot 😅
Question: How do players deal with decisions based on "game performance" in friendlies when it feels like many players don't even get playing time to prove themselves. YOu might see the same starters mixed with some changes across 2-3 friendlies, but then they don't make the team...and player A got time in the half of one game whereas player B started every game and played most of every game? How do players deal with knowing that and are there conversations with coaches about that
I must say the week has 7 days, english isn't my first language, but here I am listening pretty much to all the pods named on the daily discussion... 😂 it isn't competition, it's variation, flavors, btw waiting on a Preath x mewis overloop soon 🤍
The Olympics will could be a good opportunity. Cannot wait to watch the US women's football but l await Femke Bol and the high jump, pole-vault and the sprinters... the list goes on .

Thank you for your support in women’s sports ❤️❤️❤️
I have send many emails to the NY Times about their coverage of women's sports or the lack of them.
I would LOVE if you two had Sam (Mewis) on-and show up on an episode of Friendlies! I watch both every single week and love them equally. And I love the idea of each podcast helping to lift the other up, given women are so often pitted against each other (to your point). :)
I was going to say this! I watch both Good Vibes and Friendlies weekly and love Sam!
The ultimate cross-over! Collaboration not competition 👏🏼
I love that they are completely different - 2 totally different angles on women’s football. I enjoy them equally and value both.
Because she is pure, wonderful and amazing with the most beautiful eyes. ❤Ali❤. Both Tobin & Christen are also amazing and i love them as a couple. Keep walking, all the best to all of you guys❤
Tobin’s calves deserve a sponsorship
Tobin definitely has some calves
Give these women a show on ESPN please!!
Ashlyn Harris totally blew it man… how can you not love Ali Krieger!? Love that Tobin & Press could talk so candidly with her about it
I think Ali’s charm is that she gives off is the vibe of just good people. She’s the type of person who you’d want as a best friend and teammate. She gives off the vibe of, using Brene Brown’s analogy, not a candle blower-outer
Heath, Krieger and Press?! Iconic. Loved this podcast so much! It is so amazing to see the rise of women's sports.
You all are such inspirations for the queer community. It makes me feel so much better knowing people like ya’ll exist!
🖤🌈
I'm not queer and still admire them.
Thursdays are for The Re- Cap Show!! Loved this one. Love Krieger. Wishing her much success in her post playing days. And how I miss you three on the field together. Some USWNT glory days right there for sure. ⚽️💪💯
Thursdays are becoming everyone's favorite day of the week 😜

I love Ali's humor. So witty. Such a classy person.
As someone who’s pursuing a degree in sports marketing and management this was a very interesting and insightful conversation
We love to hear this!!

So good! Krieger is such a legend, such a vibe. Loved the deeper dive into the mentality. Y’all are tough and resilient.
👏👏👏
Yes, they are👍❤️🌈
2015+2019 team's passion and discipline was just next level. Haven't been able to see that since. Ali Krieger, what a great human. ❤
Kriegerrr!! I see her and I click. I haven't even watched yet, so I'll report back. Excited!
My 3 absolute queens... love you so much, gals. Thank you for this platform. This show is an oasis in the middle of the overwhelming desert that is patriarchal sport. Thank you for your effort and the great work reinc team .
Am SO excited Sam is coaching in Vermont. Such a gift to women and women’s football.
Wow… that was such a good episode …..Tobin and Christin you were so respectful with your questions and comments to Ali…there were a couple personal topics and all three of you were so kind to each other ….it is very obvious how much you all mean to each other …keep up the good work … Ali you are more loved then you know ❤❤❤❤❤❤
*Ali krieger WE LOVE U*
That was the best show yet! I love Ali Krieger but the way u 3 talked abut real things & feelings and not skimming over anything was awesome!
What a wonderful show. Love the laughter, honesty and obvious friendship. Well done. Love you all, especially Ali as a fellow Penn Stater!
Love Krieger!!!! Loved this episode❤
OMG, a USWNT tell-all would be revolutionary!
Thank you so much, both of you, for choosing to approach this company so thoughtfully and intentionally. You are representing the beauty of what women in these conversations and sports businesses bring to the world. Thanks for sharing your deep insights with us and your hearts. ❤

This was an excellent interview !! Ali seems to really be doing ok after her awful year - so happy for her Great interview CP&TH
Love some talk with Ali!! Very honest and down to earth.
Grew up with Ali! She is an amazing person 🙌🏻❤️
Lol Tobin's facial expression when Christen talked about retail therapy.
Ali Krieger! One of the best to ever do it!
There's such a gap in women's sports coverage especially with pro soccer players. I enjoy listening to your show, Sam's, Midge's and more.
Ty both for this interview. Her resiliency and humility is key. And can we just mention tobins calves?? 💪💪💪🥰😂
Recently had a discussion with a guy that said that women’s sports aren’t available because women don’t want to play because it’s too competitive 😂 thanks for validating my arguments
Ugh that must have been an awkward conversation

Would love for you guys to coverage of not just women’s soccer but wbna (looking at Sue Bird) & everywhere women are competing in sport!
I love these! my only request is if you could not have the candle on the left ignited, the reflection of it in the screen is distracting and my lil ND brain really cant focus on the conversations! i have to keep blocking that camera angle shot in that spot 😅
That happened to me once with my hair too 😭 I have too much of it and when it got knocked off with the ball I didn’t know what to do with it lol
Would love for you guys to have Alex Morgan on for the Re-Cap episodes around the Olympics, if she's willing!
We need t-shirts - "Kriegs is a vibe"
All the LOVE for ALI ❤
I wish Ticketmaster could hear your speech regarding competition.
I think y’all should have women boxers/ mma fighters on the show that’ll be awesome
CP, you have really great hair. ❤
