I have a file with a long internal cylinder, open on both sides. How ever during printing seems to fill with resin and come out solid. Any tips to printing long thin hollow sections?
Sir, do you mean that during the printing process, the resin flowing out of the hole will cure on the surface of the model? For your model, our suggestion is that when you punch holes on both sides of the cylinder, the height of the two holes should be as different as possible (one high and one low) 😊
HELP!! got my photon mono x week ago, been struggling with it. The test file work perfect but i download files from online stl and use the photon workshop to slice it and convert it to pwmx. I load it to the flash drive, flash drive displays correct print i wan to print. hit print, begins to print..hours later should 50, 60, 70% etc but i look at the plate and it has built nothing. I am using the any cubic resin. please help?? what am i doing wrong.

Can you use with Chromebook, Linux???
When I open some of the options, the window is larger than my screen size and i don't have the option to close or resize it. How do I make these new windows smaller and closable?
Workshop V2.2.19, can't change Contact Shape (Sphere always), the button is grey and inactive (Photon D2), please advise)

How do you import a config or "conf" file? In the older version I had with the original photon I could import a conf file that saved my settings for a particular resin. I can't find where to do that
I'm new to 3D, with the Photon Mono 4K, I tried using Lychee and got constant print failures. I sliced in Workshop and finally, got my first print. I don't know enough yet to configure Lychee, if it's can be compatible but the Workshop software constantly crashes, especially when trying to add holes. Thus, it's the first thing I add and I SAVE OFTEN. it could be my old laptop too :)
Can you save support settings
Does this version have the mono 2 added to it? I think I'll be rolling back to one of these versions before that new slicer update to 3.0 it's nothing like this! I see light and medium supports are used in this print why can you do this in the latest update? Oh please change it back, or make a new video like this for the updated slicer to show how to work it as its one of the most complicated I've used!
Why does this seem much more than the new 3.10 update? That menu at the side is very missed for supports and can I not use light med supports in a print do they all have to me either light of medium?
How can I save the model in PWMO format? To be able to print on the PHOTON MONO. Because my PHOTON does not print STL for me.

I have a problem with Photon Workshop, every model I open in the app appears as if half is outside the print area, half green and half black, and the figure is fully centered.

What am I missing? My Photon software looks NOTHING like the one used in this video series. I just bought my printer last week.

Is there a way to reduce the size of polygons when importing step files? I find it impossible to print lenses.
Support is irrelevant for me, I design my models to be fine without support, or I make the support in the CAD program.

Version 2.1.21 of Photon Workshop does not show the same options as this video for the bottom. In the video all of the variables are different than what shows in the app. The app shows settings for Shape, Diameter, Length, Contact Depth, and Angle.

Hi, I have a Anycubic mono SE at home. I watched your tutorials video but when I try to print, the printer doesn't recognise my file on the screen. I save it as a "scene" like you seem to do at the end of the video. then put it on my memory stick. And when I plug it to the printer, the printer act like there is nothing in the file. What am I doing wrong ? (my language is french so if you have a french service, it maybe would help better, if not in english)

You should not put the scene file on the usb stick. Instead, after you press the "slice" button, you will get a .pwmo and that is the file you need on the usb
When saving your print as a "scene" you will be able to edit the design in the Photon Workshop. However, to print you need to slice the design first. You can see the slice button in the bottom right corner. After slicing a "pwmo"-file will be generated. This file can be used by the printer.

Hi, sir, after you have finished setting the parameters and support, click icon at the bottom of the left stoolbar, and then you can get the slice file.😊

why i cant change the "contact shape" and its defaulted to sphere forever? :/
This is some kind of bug currently I think, I know of a few people with the same issue, my guess is the new version of Photon workshop or something

How do i get this version back as the updated 3.1 slicer is awful all that support menu has now gone from the side you have to guess work it in settings first then add supports please do a new video for it prove me wrong

Pourquoi photon ne detecte pas les collisions et pourquoi n’est il pas capable de gérer correctement les impression de supports en highspeed, votre logiciel ne detecte pas correctement les îlot. Pourquoi n’utilisez vous pas le francais qui est langue très rependue sur photon, y en a marre de l’anglais même sur vos machines. La m5s pourrait battre toutes les imprimantes avec un vrai slicer et une interface en francais. Je sais que ca va pas vous plaire mais je m’en moque. Un client mécontent de votre marque, j’ecris en français pour vous forcer à réagir. Désolé pour vous on paye mais au finale on a que peu de chose, elle imprime mais je ferais pas de pub pour votre marque, pas assez sérieux.

There are automatic and manual options, you can manually add support to the vacant part : )
I am trying to upload my first model off of thingeverse i put it in the workshop and slice it. It says its been converted to a pwmo file but when i put the jump drive in the printer it says it cant open the file. I dont know what im doing wrong
