It's quite good and transmits sound quite well. Very suitable for many people's budgets

Also your interface/sound card will carry some latency too, so the total latency you measured should be your native latency and the Xvive’s combined.

The latency from a soundcard pertains to monitoring and doesn't factor into this test. Both the direct track and U4 track used the same split input signal and then were routed into new inputs on the soundcard, meaning they entered the DAW in sync. The 5ms was measured between the direct track and the wireless track, so it's pretty straight forward.

It’s mono only right, even if you use a TRS-XLR adaptor?

Yes, it's mono only. It will play dual mono in headphones.

Contact Xvive tech support. I'm sure they can help or they'll send you a new unit.

It's actually crap if you travel because there's no telling what kind of 2gHz interference there might be around. Especially if your sound engineer uses a 2g network to mix in the house.

What about in a venue with dozens of cell phones and such? In my opinion tests like these not are not valid tests. Unless of course you just like walking around your house with in ear monitors

Why don't you make a review yourself and test the theory? That would be much more productive than your comment. I very much look forward to watching your "valid" test!
