Today on the Craigslist Civic we are installing a Skunk2 dual bend short shifter. This is the complete process from start to finish. This will cover all 92-00 D-series.

I feel that the position of 1st gear is to far away from the driver with the stock shifter - does this shifter get the position a little closer to the driver?

It does actually. I prefer the feel of it over the single bend.
