Well ladies and gentlemen today we are getting ready for my date with the tuner. I'll be swapping my stock intake air temperature sensor with a 96 Acura Integera unit. Luckily my Skunk2 intake manifold is made to accept it. A few mods to the sensor itself had to be made though.     So it’s not bad to do that to block ? Wouldn’t affect the weakness of the sleeve ? Just baught a fresh block out the machine shop and I notice only one sleeve has that notching done very small part thought.m it was broken but after watching this video it’s normall I guess ?

    Do you adjust the little nuts at the end of the rocker arms on the valves? Or do they just stay and you take them off as is in the video?

      No need for adjustment. Just make sure you don't over torque them or you will definitely stretch and snap them off. Ask me how I know 😑

    I feel that the position of 1st gear is to far away from the driver with the stock shifter - does this shifter get the position a little closer to the driver?

      @@CraigslistCivic im having trouble getting my rocker assembly on right now. I can get the out side to sit flush but not the middle. Any tips?

      @@kylestanfill5163 usually they tend to bow from the middle out. almost like a stretched out U. Are you able to get all your rocker bolts into the head itself?

      @@CraigslistCivic i havent tried to put any bolts in yet. But i think they will go in. Its just not squishing down in the middle

      @@kylestanfill5163 like I said it will bow. If you can get your bolts in it should squish down when you tighten them all. Remember start in the middle and work your way out in a criss crossing pattern

    I really need your help. I gor a d16z6 and trying to get the rocker cap back on. Im havinf a hard time wrestling it back in. No matter what i do. I can get the left and righr side bolt flush. But the 2md 3rd 4th row bolts wont be flush. Id still have a gap. I dont want to force it in. Or loose thread the bolt

    I did 20 and 22 and the oil.rings landed from.the box between 21 and 24 I ran them the way they came and it runs great

    Theres a nipple beside the map sensor that doesnt need anything but what about the other 2 in the bottom ?? Where do they go

      I believe you're talking about the idle air control valve porting for the coolant to run through. It's a recirculatory system that feeds through the intake manifold and drains to the coolant bar on the back of the engine.

      @@javierchavez7167 When looking at the throttle body(TB) head on going into the intake manifold I'm pretty sure the left one, which is the one pointed up if I remember correctly, is the feed I think. The one on the right which points down is the one that runs back into the intake manifold.

    Hay buddy im bout 2 do the same iat thing b4 tuners but on a 3800 ! Where does the iat sensor wireing connect to ? Where hav u got it going to ? Pcm or a gague ?

    So did you connect everything the same way it was with the old throttle body? I'm only asking, because I've read where people bypass the coolant line. I just want to make sure I get it set up properly and there's not a lot of thorough precise resources on this installation.

      I did initially. However now the current setup has everything bypassed. Talking about the coolant lines to the IACV that is. You have to block off the nipple on the intake manifold and the nipple on the main coolant hard line on the back of the block.

    Hello I have my em1 and I’m almost due for emissions I bought it with b16a tucked and idk were my wiring for my iat is at but I got a check engine for it I see the hole it’s blocked off in my original manifold

      I believe the IAT on that harness is like the one I'm running. It should be in your intake piping and the wiring should be inline with the MAP sensor loom. Hope that helps.

    Try a thicker gasket that might fix your problem when you get the head back

      I'm gonna use a real OEM gasket with copper spray.
