Our definitions of DIY are very different. I thought to myself, “I could do this,” until you started to forge your own metal. Impressive and beautiful work. Hats off!
Thanks Frank .. I say give it a shot. The door is totally optional and there are many after market doors that can just be purchased. Here is the company I used to modify my plans from. I think you will find their plans a lot more user friendly🤙

Yeah, sure glad you don’t need a lot of tools and know how for this. I was with you up until the plasma cutter. Then I folded my cards, in homage to your superior talent and workshop.
Totally awesome. Thanks for taking us along. Also, it looks like you’re blessed with awesome kids. Cherish them.
I couldn’t even build the frame for the concrete if I had too

This guy's literally got every tool imaginable.
Haha... Ok.. almost every tool 😜
love a guy with tools, nothing worse than a guy with no tools ha ha ha
@@PrincessDeeDee67 I second that 😜
There's no limit of what you can do when you got the tools.. :-)
@@PrincessDeeDee67 maybe you can speak to my wife for me? She asked for my credit card and cut it in half when she thought I had “too many tools”. I showed her that they still made great glue spreaders.
This fire pit is one of a few covered pits that is on the list ruclips.net/user/postUgkxAU9pOCSV9Y5JprooHvfxTpOrt4hx8uRM of approved products for Disney Fort Wilderness. The product served its purpose well and provided excellent fires throughout the evening. We were able to open the door and do s'mores, but I had to be careful because the handle was a bit hot on occasions. Additionally, I wish they had replaced some of the standard nuts with lock nuts in some places. We lost the door handle after just a couple of days of usage. Not a deal breaker, just a recommendation. I still give it 5 stars.
I started to watch the video thinking the project was within my skill range. That delusion disappeared quickly, and I just watched the rest all the way to completion because I wanted to see the first pizza come out of the oven. I hope family members appreciate all the hard work and advanced skills, not to mention dedication, that it took to build this work of art, down to the wire tree decoration and the hand made door handle. Kudos.
Thank You Lorenzo.. It was a lot of hard work but it payed off in the end and my family is very appreciative 😁. I say give it a shot. The diy company I bought my foam core from has really good instructions, and the oven can be built with far less tools than I use ;)

When I clicked on this link I thought, "This is the one I want to build for myself!" I don't even know how to use a hammer, so nevermind. This man is a genius--he welded, whittled wood, sanded concrete, laid bricks, amazing!
Haha.. whittled wood.. that got me 😂 Thanks for the compliment 😊
This guy has every tool for metal and wood working, and of course the skills, jeeesus
Welllll… there are a few tools I’d like to add😜
I've come to realize that 90% of awesome DIY youtubers are all rich. They all have a proper workshop, and each have over $30k worth of equipment, not to mention cost of materials in order to make these high quality, satisfying projects. None of this is possible for your average viewer, regardless of their ambitions and dreams. It's all fantasy.
Well Austin… I beg to disagree. I believe that for those that have a true desire to create, find a way to do it. I didn’t always have a shop with all these tools. Most of what I have I’ve been collecting since I was 16. I learned a lot of what I know from working along side of those that had and knew more than myself, often getting payed very little. I wasn’t in it for the money, I was in it for the knowledge, and after years of hard work it’s starting to pay off. I think if you want an oven like the one I built you should give it a shot, it can be done with far less tools than I used. Check out this diy oven site and you will see it’s truly possible 🤙

A true work of art. The attention to detail was just amazing. Every little piece belonged.
I'm not sure what I loved more. The final product, or that fantastic shop you have. You have just about every single tool that I would want. Well done, Sir.
Thanks HvyMetal4Ever🤙. I’ve been collecting tools since I was 14. Wasn’t until about 3-4 years ago I actually got to put them all in my own shop! It still doesn’t feel real sometimes;) 🍻

Absolutely wonderful! Congrats, that is the nicest project I have seen. I love how you made the oven floor in a herringbone pattern; not only to look nice but also to make more work for yourself...I completely understand this mindset. Well done!
Thank You for the great compliment 🙏
He did it very well, but, the offset (herringbone) pattern, is used so the peel slides across the joints when placing, turning and removing pizzas.
WOW! Completely blown away on how that looks. Thank you for sharing and incredible craftmanship for a DIY.
Thank You Dusty 🙏🤙
wow! The detailing on the oven door is amazing!

This build was crazy cool, I love the twisted tree as the final design for the door, im sure this took a lot of time and dedication. Very well constructed, it's a shame that people don't subscribe to these channels. I dont think they realize how much time these take, but you've really got to appreciate these sorts of things.

@@ShalohaCreations hey not a problem. I do projects like this too, it can be a painstaking task. I appreciate these sorts of things, mainly because I know how horrid these projects can be sometimes. It is usually very fun, but its a killer on the body and you really feel the aftermath of it later.

This channel deserves more subs. The camera work, editing, music choice, etc. it's a lot better than many bigger channels. Keep up the great work.
Thank you for the great compliment! Give me encouragement..I’ll keep the videos coming🤙
Wow...this pizza oven is spectacular. The care put into it is amazing. The builder is an artist. An inspiration of what can be done with vision. Going beyond notions of pure functionality to make the end result soulful.
This oven has 0 functionality. Because it is wrongly sold as a pizza oven. That oven is not a pizza oven.
It is a bread baking oven. You fill it with fire, saturate the bricks, then use the retained heat to bake bread.
The ceiling is too tall to bake a proper pizza
Tall ceiling will never keep the stone hot. Also your pizzas you baked do not have proper top heat. That could be preference but after one or two pizzas you will have problems.
This guy has every tool we all want and does it all in flip flops. Don't lie - we all want to be like this guy. Now give me my likes and my pizza.

Really well done. This vid was recommended to me after watching 20-30 pizza oven builds. Like how you molded the base to have it flush. A lot of details added that I hadn't thought about. Unfortunately for me I don't have the tools nor the talent as you do.

Beautiful Work! Not many people would have the tools and talent.
Thank you 🙏🤙
I know it's dumb to comment on a 2 year old video, but I saw this one and just had to say it. You can't reasonably call this a DIY video. This build is full of professional tools and machines. I felt strongly enough about this to do a little math, and I hate math. Using the lowest price for new tools I came up with: Circular saw 40, drill 40, angle grinder 40, cement mixer 400, tile saw 100, table saw 150, jointer 300, concrete vibrator 120, tractor 17000, plasma cutter 300, welder 450, lathe 350. So for the low price of $19290.00, plus everything used off camera, plus materials, plus all the hand tools, this pizza oven could be yours! That being said, it's a beautiful pizza oven and a joy to watch you work.
Yes ..I went heavy on the tools but this could be done with far less. It’s really a tuff thing to try and get the RUclips algorithm to work in your favor so unfortunately the DIY was more of a tool to get the video to be picked up. The oven I built was modified from a diy oven kit by www.brickwoodovens.com/pages/outdoor-pizza-oven-kits?gclid=Cj0KCQiAz9ieBhCIARIsACB0oGKtyp94dpe-7rcxSMOaR0xM5NjedNAl9_n2hvBzmBdmhUBAwoF7BRwaAlDtEALw_wcB

I was planning on building a pizza oven but after watching this, forget it! Must be nice to have all those freaking awesome tools as well as the skills to use them. Great job for sure. There is a pizza oven place near me where I can buy one for $3k and have it sat on my base. I'm going to go that route most likely lol.
Thanks jstar 🙏🤙. Nothing wrong with pay and play, set in place, ovens. That leaves more time to hang out with family and friends using it than building it ;)

Nicely executed. I used the same foam template to build my oven. I added a lower vault in front where I placed the chimney to help contain the heat better. Having the chimney at the top of the vault without a lower door way allows a majority of the heat to escape out the chimney instead of heating the dome.
Brilliant.. good idea 👍🤙
Great. Good for you that you have all this equipment. This is a video for pros. Not for regular home owners that want to do a DIY oven.

Brilliant artist! Loved the whole process and the end product is incredible. The door is stunning.
Great compliment! Thank you! 🙏
The perfect addition to the back yard. Appreciate the attention to detail. Could Italian tiles be added to the outside and surround table?
Mariella Barnes Thank you🙏. Yes you could add tile. It can be modified in many different ways. The original plans have the entire top made in 3 sections and then has full sized fire brick covering the entire surface...I like a more contemporary look so did it in concrete being careful to have a fire and heat safe surface for the pizza oven floor...
