I think you need to ask Cole to install one of those simply safe cameras in the top of each bin with a light. That way instead of climbing up on top of those dangerously built bins, you can just check using your cell phone.
We don't want you to fall off of one of those bins because it would probably leave a really big mark on the ground !!! 😏

I hope the bin site comes to a positive resolution asap, safety is a priority we all know, unfortunately the legal system doesn't move quickly. Praying for no physical injuries, only positive vibes sent your way.

You ever thought of getting a thermal camera to look at your bins? I would think the grain would create a temp delta between empty and full areas. Would save you from climibing up the bin. Maybe find a place you could rent a thermal camera and try it out.
For the amount of times this guy has gone up there to the same spot and shook that handle to show how loose it is he could have just brought up some nuts and bolts and fixed the darn thing

Every time I watch you climb up the bins, I get mad at the contractor again. I certainly hope you win the lawsuit and can get it all fixed. Although, I don't see how the big cement pad can be fixed without unloading it first. What a mess. Be careful!!!
Please be safe and careful when you check the bins. Would be a tragic loss if you were to even be harmed a slight bit while checking the bins. You might want to investigate getting some proper fall protection equipment or possibly a man lift to avoid using the questionable structures on the bin sight. Wishing you and your family the best.

Who can we PRSECUTE now, for those bins falling apart?? We know about the lawsuit already, but someone's head needs to ROLL sooner than later, yes ?? Beeeee Careful Daddy !! And may I add that as SMART and Conscientious as Cole, Cooper and their father are, would allow something like this just SLIP BY ??? Me thinks NOT !! Half Measures don't get you very far, and neither does half assed work either. If pieces of that bin site are FALLING OFF to the ground, did someone go up there and loosen the bolts ? That is insane !! Stupidity does not get far with me at any cost.
There nothing anyone can do. Sorry but we don't know the full story of hat was said behind closed doors. we just see all the problems. It can take years to figure our who is at fault for what. This is not just one person fault here.

Knowing y’all are huge RUclipsrs it shocks me that the grain bin issues ever came up. You would think knowing how public yalls lives and theirs when working for you are that the companies involved would have been on their A game. They are just lucky that y’all are good people and haven’t blasted everything about them over and over. Pretty sure I’m not that good at using my common sense and for sure my mouth , no longer has a filter. I’m no where near y’all nor a farmer. But honestly every time I see the bins and especially when one of y’all have to go on them my blood pressure goes up in anger.
The company that installed your bins should be embarrassed. The concrete people should be embarrassed.

Hi DC. I would call the company that built your combine and say it’s there job to go up there and do the job for you. This way they will see first hand how dangerous it is.
Until you get the lawsuit squared away and the bins fixed, you all really should be wearing hard hats whenever you are around the bins. You could be running augers (noisy) and not hear something come loose and fall.
I feel you with the glasses situation. I found a magnetic glasses holder clipped to my shirt to be quite useful for that situation.
I used to always lose my glasses and look absolutely everywhere for them and when my kids would come home from school I'd ask them to help look for them. They would say " mom, they are on top of your head" 🤣😂🤣 This happened more times than I would like to admit. 😅 please DC get cole to hook up a light and camera so you can look on your phone to check out the interior of those grain bins. It's not worth the risk. They should be ashamed of themselves. I'm absolutely disgusted by their lack of workmanship, ethics. Daddy cornstar I worry so much when I see you and the boys up on the Ben's with the railings and steps falling off or bending over when you hold onto them to steady yourself. My prayers are with you every time
I recently completed a second story deck project at my house. The deck height is 9' off the ground. To close out the building permit, the inspector checked the safety rail height, step consistency, baluster spacing, graspable hand rails, in addition to the structure/span joists. Basically all aspects that prevent a fall, or could cause a fall if done improperly. This is out in small rural Kentucky. Shameful that your bin installer could walk on a project of that magnitude with the piss poor work. I really hope that others in your area that could fall victim to this contractor is aware of who did your work.

Would you please get yourself a climbing harness. You can have a couple of lines coming off so you have at least 2 attachments. That way you will always be hooked. I realize some of areas might not be strong enough but you need to try. Your a smart guy. Don’t be mr tough guy, just do it for your family. ❤
You may want to invest in some fall prevention equipment. At least until there is some resolution to the issue.

IT not AGI fault. You don't understand how this stuff work. AGI is just the bin people the catwalk and other items are from different vendors. The company that sold them the bin is the responsible party. Agi sells more then bins but we don't know what came from who. But like catwalk and other things are usually brought local the.

It scares me to death to watch you climb those stairs. I almost can’t watch. I pray this bin situation gets corrected soon before one of you gets hurt. It’s 25 here right now and 2 days ago it was 19 with the wind chill factor. We are so flat there’s nothing to stop the wind. Common joke is it’s so flat you can see your dog running away for 10 miles! 😂 Feels like the wind blows right through you!
I know you’re in the midst’s of a lawsuit but I believe I would take a few wrenches up and fix the hand rails myself if I had to use them. No need killing yourself off just to preserve the shitty work.

I hope you can get the bins fixed soon. There's so much that went wrong with the build. Just think about it. The concrete pads are not to speak. The bins will have to be taken completely. This will set you back for years.

Good heavens, you were making me nervous with you climbing and the railings moving around so much! 😮 Anyway those can be fixed? And the ones that fell from wherever could have knocked someone out or worse. People don't get how dangerous farming can be. My first job was with the USDA in the 1980's farm crisis. We rooted for every farmer. Going to school was new, and one farmer had a home computer. Now everyone has more than that on their cell phones!😊❤ Be careful Daddy Cornstar.

If they were really serious about safety they would fix it. They caused the issues they are having.
Put Flex Tape over the holes to keep the water out. JUST KIDDING. If you EVER use Flex Tape, you first must understand it will NEVER come off. My Dad put some on some leaky windows on the boat. No one has any advice on the web how to remove it. The manufacturer's advice is so weak, that it doesn't work. I used a torch and multiple scrapings, then lacquer thinner after days, finally got it all off. And this was just a small area!
Amazing how cheap those bins are…not sure of it was install or manufacturer or both. While not a bin, the railing outside my work steps was installed in 1985, made of galvanized 1” pipe and it still just as strong as day 1 after 38 years. Ya would figure those railings on the bins could make it a year.
D.c. I think that is a 3 man job. Then it's done. It sucks the bin is leaking on top of everything else.
Where's the architect in all this every building and structures that's erected has an architect couldn't he see the violations? Who's following the blueprints? Who finalized the blueprints, doesn't the bank that lent you the money have its own inspectors?
