- 63 Brooklands Members went to the Sammy Miller Museum Trust on the 29th March 2023. The Museum staff were the perfect hosts.
Here Sammy presents two examples from the museum's extensive collection.

Fantastic man could have been a grand prix world champion but he preferred trials and he became the greatest ever.
I think Sam said nearly 150 mph for a 500 single. 😮 and a 500 Guzzi single 170 mph. Acceleration of a modern bike would destroy them though.

I'm sure I seen the kneeler or the eggshell Norton at nw 200i thi k Ray Amm rode it .......
The Norton is awesome, Canuck Tom Mellor took a vintage modded streamliner Triumph T150 over a 190 mph at Bonneville proof the old engines just needed more development in early 70's.
Proof of the efficiency of streamlining.
The museum needs a proper track to run the bikes on.
How much of the Kneeler Norton is original?
I would very much like to see this bike ridden at a track by a fast rider who could compare it with a good Manx
