My word what a fantastic place , gives me goosebumps trying to imagine i'm right there, i could live there and never go out. Sammy i'm in awe of what you created, keep taking the tablets i hope you live forever.
Nice to hear an archtop electric jazz guitar with clarinet playing the segues. Better than heavy metal thrash nonsense. Excellent little series of programmes Sammy, you are a LIVING LEGEND. ( ps. I'm a Manxman.)
What a fantastic historical tour of the museum, as I live in Canada it is not too likely I will get a chance to come see it in person so these video tours are wonderful. Thank you so much for doing these videos, I so appreciate them and what you do. Take good care, be well and stay safe
Great museum, very easy to spend all day there. As well as the bikes they have loads of memorabilia and some books and magazines for sale. Nice café as well. Will be back for sure after this wretched virus is history...
Great video, I see that the new extension has been finished, will there be an official unveiling of the new exhibit once the lockdown is lifted or have I missed it ?
I remember Rex avery riding the EMC 125 at Oulton Park in the 1960s at was I think a Wirral 100 club meeting! I remember the bike being very quick and he won easliy
Love the museum and the bikes,, but it needs to be known that the VERDEL and the PACKER (also in your museum) were both built in Clitheroe Lancashire in or around 2000 by a super talented engineer who never wished them to be passed off as anything but what they were.. fun. please describe them as what they are , not 1912. they are still super interesting motorcycles and deserve to be there.
A like the Verdel very much. It's not even a replica because Verel never made motorcycles. It is a modern impression of an early 20th century board racer and very beautiful for it.
Sammy, you forgot about Guzzi's in line straight four works racer of the early '50s. Also, the Ducati v-twins are 90 degrees, not 120 like that Guzzi at 8:00 Another technical mistake is at 13:50 describing the EMC split single. The idea of it being supercharged is non-sense. The two cylinders have an offset of a few degrees of timing, which allows better control of inlet and exhaust port opening times, and also the gases have a directional flow

Please consider installing a fire sprinkler system within this building.
A big one!
Really the issue is that once these mechanics age out, no one will know how to preserve these bikes anyway.
@@irvhh143 thats bollocks. People still build carts, steam engines etc.

A visit is definitely on the list. What an incredible collection.
You must visit this museum.
The people that work there are tip top and a credit to Sammy Miller The Legend.
Nice to hear about the Suzuki; "it's more a clock inside" , Suzuki derserves more respect because of many special bikes they made.

This is the museum I need to visit ASAP.
Works of Art in a marvelous extension of mechanical excellence and ingenuity. Totally without any practical use whatsoever. And rightly so.

Sammy needs to have a chat with Allen Millyard, one of his creations would be a great addition to the museum...

What the heck was a Sinclair suicide buggy doing in the background. I never would have thought to collect one of those.

Why did they make it 120 degree V and not 90?
@irvhh143 it's a much lower engine. That's why.
Maybe I cant see it but where is the sprinkler system?
i am happy
Why would anyone give this a thumbs down, if you don’t like bikes don’t watch it or criticise.
Good God 50cc four ;-)
Have seen this bike at Sammy Millers. Was amazing .Wonder what it's top speed was?
Buy the ticket, take the ride.
Дедушка, включи пожалуйста субтитры, мне так охота узнать о чем ты рассказываешь.

Very bad cameraman ..... that's not how you show a museum.
Are you still an intern .....?
He seems to little regard for parts, he picks them up then drops them.
I noticed that.
I'd handle those finely-engineered components with kid gloves...
They're probably knackered. Just chunks of metal.
