It is one of the requirements of some tribes that a warrior must Count Coup on his enemies to become a War Chief. Plus don't forget, most Native traditions value life above all else. Our old ways dictate we even love our enemies and pray for them to become friends. All tribes are different, however. So the fact that your character can sneak in, overpower and run off enemies armed with stronger weapons shows the cunning and prowess of your character, earning the respect and admiration of ANY other warrior.

Camachee were tho only tribes to fight on horseback I've seen that in some of these clips most natives that used horses dismounted then fought. Comachee stayed mounted. They lived primarily Oklahoma, Texas and new Mexico. I dont know how accurate they intend to be however.

They essentially say they created a non-specific Native American nation with no specific location, merely out in the ‘wilderness’ of North America (where Europeans had not settled yet) during the 18th and 19th centuries where settlers were expanding out.

The karma system was a god idea. In a situation like the one the player is in, in this game, you cannot make everyone angry at you. And excessive killing will do exactly that. Killing people brings a lot of heat, more than just running your enemies off would do. The only time when killing is your best option, in reality, is if you are already winning, or are in a position where you CAN win. Think along the lines of terrorism as we know it today, in the modern world. Every time a a terrorist is successful, they create just that much more hostility toward their faction. Do it enough and the entire world would turn a blind eye to their destruction, no matter what kind of act of barbarism you took to get rid of them. A menace is a menace. Remember, the Native Americans ultimately LOST.
This game is really cool and has lots of potential. The devs should be very careful to listen to the Steam reviews and work to make this game what it deserves to be. I personally would like seeing this game be a free roam third person crafting survival mount and blade with Rainbow Six tactical combat mechanics. If you could organize your tribesmen into squads and give then commands at the squad level, stealth mode, non lethal mode, fire at will, hold fire and movement commands plus Rainbow Six tactical commands for your main squad it would make the game feel super immersive and the combat dynamic and incredibly rewarding for astute players. Add onto this broader base building and ultimately a multiplayer and you got game of the year. I would 100% sink up to $100 dollars for a game that achieves this with polish and good performance optimization. Hell, I would play the game continuously if and buy dlcs if they follow a paradox ongoing development strategy.

Fort McClellan is in the Oxford/Anniston area of Alabama. Used to go through the army area all the time. So this would be North East Alabama.
