Thought the video was gonna suck but you covered everything
Thank you!
👍👍👍хороший инструмент,очень к месту
Ооооо поздравляю
Спасибо !
I have been soldering copper for 35 years and have become accustomed to doing so anywhere and just about under every condition. I'm not going to stop NOW BUT if I did, Pex A without question in my mind STANDS ALONE in cost and resiliency. Especially to freezing.
One time was working with A-Pex. (Whole House Water Filter PEX-A pipe Installation ruclips.net/video/AyzS_I9xXq0/видео.htmlsi=Kd0F1Q17Jiw2RWsH).
Not really happy with PEX-A, because you have a couple seconds to connect pipe to fitting. So, my preference work with PEX-B, plenty time to cut, connect and press without any hurry.
Just like James Bond 007 💣
😆 that's true ! 😛
Do this vevor kits take Makita battery Right?. I would assume also the take ridgid ring press accessories too for hard to reach (c1/v1 kit)
Yes Makita battery. Never had Ridgid press tool, so can't answer if that jaw fit to Vevor.
@@FixitAll thanks!.
I have been soldering copper for 35 years. Repairs primarily, and I'm not going to stop NOW BUT if I did, it would be Pex A all the way.
I find it AMAZING.
Can you use mega press jaws for black iron with this?
Copper and Brass only.
10 year service plumber here thinking of grabbing this as I do water main replacements heater swaps daily... idk was gonna buy a used m12 mini but the vevor mini has my eye how’s it holding ?
Works the same as Milwaukee or NIBCO:
Pipe Replacement with Nibco ruclips.net/video/CHW3Sd7xal0/видео.html
Connectors were replaced with Milwaukee 12v Pro Press ruclips.net/video/Yh7xgjP98Kk/видео.html
IKR? If only the RP-115 could do 1". Vevor is seems so HarborFreighty.
@@jeremywatts2768 I already worked with 3 type of brands. Doesn't matter for the cooper fitting which brand of press you use. All jaws work the same to fitting. It's only difference in tool design and comfortable or not grip for hand and weight of tool. So for copper fittings itself, no matter which brand of cooper.
@@FixitAll what about steel (1/2 in to 3/4 in)? any reccomendations for the best one of these pro press on a budget?
@@controlgrm I'm not work with steel pipe.
How much to recalibrate after 10000 presses or so. I hear the RIDGID doesn't even get close and malfunctions. So you gotta recalibrate way way sooner.
Calibrate? You kidding? This is cast iron jaws. It last for 10 years at list on daily works. BTW, jaws has 0.5 mm range from min. to max. So not really matter perfection diameter.
If this set will be used ones a week, so it will serve my grand-grand-grand children.
How has it been working would you recommend?
Works same like Milwaukee or NIBCO:
Pipe Replacement with Nibco ruclips.net/video/CHW3Sd7xal0/видео.html
All connectors were replaced with Milwaukee Pro Press ruclips.net/video/Yh7xgjP98Kk/видео.html
Where is this $500? I can only find it at around $800 now
I bought it from eBay.
Please share link where it is $500. Thanks!
Is it heavy? Says weighs 13lbs vs Milwaukee 5lbs
Yes, it is much heavier. That's why it has a ring for hook neck belt if a lot of work.
Can these be used on HVAC equipment?
@bmarcus672 Can't tell, never done HVAC. If they're same copper diameter and fittings, yes you can.
What type of copper did you use type L or M?
I have no idea. I bought copper from the Home Depot, Lowes, online stores, Amazon.
These jaws can smash any type of cooper.
Where are you getting $500?!? These are like $800 on sale
Ebay.
you bought it used......?
Yes. The digital counter showed 25 trigger pulls/squeezes.
@FixitAll digital counter will be really helpful for maintaice, millwakee and ridgid must add counter, they always says (ex) 50.000 crimps but no way to know how many we used
Where did you buy from ?
Ebay
@@FixitAllthanks
But it’s 999$ not 500$
You might be purchased used to found deal
@@shahram677 Yes, the owner said he used it a couple of times. And the digital counter shows only 25 trigger pulls since I opened the case. So this likely means less actual physical pull, since any test trigger pull is counted and remembered on the display.
So I can say that this is a completely new set of tools.
@@FixitAllgood job!!🎉

Can you use mega press jaws for black iron with this?
Never hear about it. These jaws designed for soft material like copper or brass fittings only.
