Test Track 2.0 FINAL DAY, CommuniCore HALL AND PLAZA is Finally OPEN, and More!

Hey everyone! Welcome back or welcome to It’s A Small Vlog! Today, we are here at EPCOT for a couple of reasons. Most notably, today is the FINAL day that Test Track 2.0 is operating before it begins its year-long reimagining into Test Track 3.0! Additionally, we’ll also be taking a look at the newly opened CommuniCore Hall and Plaza that recently debuted, completing not just World Celebration, but the entire multi-year EPCOT transformation! Test Track is going to open at about the same time as Epic Universe. It's actually good timing on Disney's part. They are going to add just enough new stuff to each park to make people feel that they need to visit the Disney parks while they are in town for Epic Universe.

That’s what I figured. Considering how quickly the reimagining was done back in 2012 and the opening timeframe for Epic Universe, I’m betting on a Memorial Day weekend opening date next year.

I'm gonna miss Test Track, but it has had a lot of stuff that's been broken recently, such as the window/door to the power test, which has just been open the whole time the last few times I went on

Agreed. In fact, that effect was actually broken in the footage I captured lol. This is one attraction where I'm actually looking forward to a "reimagining," and not just wishing it would get a general refurb.

I haven't been to Epcot in a while and I have a question for you. Do they still use any of the special effects that were installed into the Magic Eye Theater for Honey, I Shrunk the Audience? It would be a shame if they just turned them all off.

Which special effects are you talking about specifically? The Magic Eye Theater is currently home to a 3D show called the Disney/Pixar Short Film Festival.
