- 2nd Vid here. I was able to install a software upgrade from a private party to our 2015 Nissan Murano. All functions working for both Android Auto and Apple Carplay except I lost all function to SiriusXM Satellite Radio Tuner. I was told it happens on some unites, and he is working on it. Thankfully I can still listen to it SiriusXM using the SiriusXM app. Again not bad as you get to keep your birds eye view cameras. Latest aftermarket stereos still suck and you lose all of that and the center display as well.

Just a quick question, any update on the software? Some other people are asking if the SiriusXM no antenna issue has been resolved yet? Let me know.

OK I have a 2015 Nissan Murano platinum but there is a SD card in my slot. Do I have to get a brand new SD card and I can use CarPlay? Right now I have no access of CarPlay please respond ASAP. Thank you.

The software update get updating automatically or he will send you a new link for the update and you have to update it manually using sd card?
And the backup camera still works? Did the XM issue get fixed yet?
Yes, back up camera works well and all around view works just as OEM. I have asked to see if the SiriusXM no antenna issue has been resolved. Once I hear back i will reply and update everyone. Reminder that you can still listen to SiriusXM, you just have to use the app. Whether you use Android or Apple, you have to download the app and it will show up as an app that you can use on either one. Not quite the same but still enjoyable.

Sorry about my other question (I saw you provide the answer to someone else). One last thing I would liek to know, is it possible to purchase a different navigations card to download the software just incase I ever want to switch back to the original system?
@@gabrielhernandez3423 From my experience it will stay with the car. It basically upgrades the entire system as if it where pretty much a 2020 Nissan Murano. I am not sure if you will be able to reverse it. I don't see any reason for a reverse. From the install, it seems it is only for the Murano, you later get a installation key for it.(see videos from provider) that you have to upgrade/2nd install as part of the initial install.
From what I see it's not a basic software upgrade, it's a genuine Nissan Software but somehow modded to work with the earlier Murano's, years 2015 +
