Yea but you got to think, if you have numerous places you could go to it’s easier to just use ETA to see where traffic is congested instead of typing in a bunch of cities into google maps
I feel like if you go to the same spots regularly this is great (going home, to the office, eta to the kid’s school) takes out entering it into navigation. It’s a great app imo.
Am I missing something about ETA? All the sat navs show time to destination, including saved favourites, and they're free? What does paying £5 for ETA offer?
I was unable to get Rocket Homes to show up in my CarPlay app. I went to settings and the application is not listed under CarPlay. Do you have any suggestions to get it to work?
@@Yvero94 I wish Apple would just implement this feature into CarPlay itself. It would be so cool if we could watch RUclips, Netflix, etc while we’re in park mode. The amount of times I’m in Park mode in a parking lot and having a quick snack and wishing I could use my screen is too many to count. Tesla figured out a way to detect if the car is in park mode and allows people to watch Netflix Apple should be able to as well.

@@Frankie5Angels150 you have to download the apps on your phone and since attached to your apple account, then any app on your phone that is available for the car then it will show automatically.

@@AnthonyLeks just get google maps it does that for you already and more accurate than Apple Maps. Both do get the job done though
You also can use the normal RUclips App for playing "podcast" Audio of any video in your playlist.

Just got a new car myself last week. I just download the apps on my phone. If it has a CarPlay version, it shows up the next time I turn on my car.

Third party apple carlplay head unit. Running android and has carplay available through something like tlink5
