Breath of Fire 2 - Barubary [Solo / Ryu Only]

Protip: Try to be at least Lv. 45, or have your Agil. above 90 so you can attack before Barubary. This will help A TON in this fight.
Other interesting stuff to have here:
Biscuit - Healing and DefUp
MedusaSH - Raises Atk.
HolySH - Raises MDef, good against BoltX.
WisdomBL - AP recover, unless you're WAY overleveled it will restore Ryu's AP to max allowing you to blast another Dragon power.

Awesome video! I am not here yet, I just beat the guardian eyes and my TownShip is now flying...
I remember people talking about how hard Barubary was and I am dreading this battle....you made it look pretty easy I must say!
My team: Ryu 48, Bleu 48, Bow 42, Nina 45...I don't want to over-level but then again, I don't want to be worm food! :O

Actually, it's no problem if you hunted plenty of roast, which restores full HP.

If you fight him solo, Barubary will have 4000 HP instead of 5000.

Oooh, so you can use items as objects.... Good to know after beating the game hahahaha.
A little level overkill. I think i did it at level 38 or so. Needed a lot of items, but not too hard.
