*** A correction about Tenant Kay taken from the BOF2 Handbook - Errata File: *** Kay gives all characters in your party (not just active members) immunity to poison, until after they are struck with 32 poison-based attacks (in addition to attacks which naturally 'Miss' your characters). Kay will give this gift even if you already have it, and it will reset your party's 'poison immunity counter' back to 32. In my opinion, this makes House 1 a choice between either Kay or Hekeller. The only other way to prevent the Poison status effect is to hunt down some ShinyBR/Light Brace accessories, and that can take a while...
7:12 You're correct! The tenants with armories are all named after weapons manufacturers - most are just muddled from translation. Heckler (Hekkler), Baretta (Beretta), Leminton (Remington), Karashnikofu (Kalashnikov)... all arms manufacturers and 100% intentional in their names.
I actually didn't realize that Hekkeller was a weapon manufacturer name. In retrospect I also should have realized Karashinikofu was BoF2's way of saying Kalashnikov
As far as I can recall, there's nothing in game to indicate that tenants will only reside in specific houses either, back in 1994 it's pure trial and error.
Amazing that you've compiled them all! Good job MegaHarv! And everytime you say: for breath of fire 2 on the super nintendo (we know you're playing on the switch 😂, youve spoiled your secret on one of the shorts)
Oh yeah, I spoiled it in a few videos, but figured it couldn't hurt to guide people to notice it is on the Switch. I have a few other Shorts series to compile yet! Glad I started
@@MegaHarv oh yes. I already have it on the SNES portion of the Switch Online part which you can play these great titles offline too. Even the 1st BOF. I haven’t beaten that one either.

Appreciate this clarification! This definitely makes more sense then it only being useful once

It's crazy that you can screw yourself out of some good stuff if you didn't realize that each tenant was locked to a specific house.

Thanks for the guide, Harv!
You're welcome Flam!

We can see you were putting a lot of efforts on those punches at the end 😂
You're kitting!!!
I'm sorry. You've outstanded yourself with the statue of limitation...
I'm glad you didn't take my Statue Pun for Granite!
This is the funniest and most helpful BoF2 guide ever. 😂😂😊😊
I remember the first time I played this game after Chrono trigger and then going to game FAQs and realized I did a whole lot of wrong
Never heard anyone else say Fartknocker before, wow that threw me
Arwnt they residents and not tennents?
Dude, martin is a scammer!!! I remember being so pissed at him!
I didn't think to update the video anywhere, however apparently if you just say "No" to him, he comes clean. I haven't actually checked myself though
