I appreciate that @seankillblane . I think it's because there is practically nothing like it on RUclips and the algorithm has no idea what to do with this type of content yet. It's a brand new sub niche. ... that's my guess anyways. But hey man, comments like yours make it all worth while! Thank you!
That's amazing, honestly, I'm so nervous to put these videos out in case someone is disappointed. I'm glad to hear it's a good recommendation. Thank you brother! 🙌
I say novice smokers, but I have been smoking cigars for 18 years and still ruin cigars from time to time by cutting too deep. Another great cutter is a perfecto guillotine cutter, it has a backing so you can't go too deep as well.
Fantastic test. I really love my Xikar XV2. It cuts clean and works well for me. I have to admit though, the Cigarloong has me intrigued. Will definitely check it out. 🙌🏽
I bought the Cigarloong (because I destroyed the test one) from the guillotine test and have loved it ever since. I will probably get this one as well. Wish I knew who made this product, because we're probably making them a lot of money 😋
I picked up the cigarloong one off Temu just because I’ve never used a v cut before and wanted to see if I would like it before investing in a nice one. It was only like $16 on Temu and cut my cigar great tonight! I was looking up videos to pick out a good v cut now since I do enjoy it on the torpedo I’m smoking tonight and apparently the cigarloong might last me longer than I thought. I’ll just keep using it when I want a v cut now and wait until I see a v cutter I really like and want instead of worrying about the cigarloong not lasting and spending the money for the xikar or calibri that I don’t really like the style of.
That's awesome! Yeah, that Cigarloong is a great value. I have been using mine for the past year and my only complaint is that the hole is a little too small for 56+ ring gauges. Other than that, it's the best cutter I have ever owned.
You have the Quasar? Ha ha, yeah, that thing is a beauty, it hurt. I filmed a goodbye video on my phone before dropping it 😂 Only had it for a few days, never got to use it.
I like colibri at the $40 range. Way better than the cheap stuff but the expensive stuff is diminishing returns. However, i like vertigo if using a cheap cutter as at that price point it cant be beat. I keep my colibri at home, and take vertigos out.
That's a smart way to go. Especially if you smoke a lot at home. People walk away with my cutters all the time, don't want to lose anything too expensive.
I appreciate the full price range of these, but the low middle range ones work great for me. They’re expensive enough for durability, and cheap enough not to break the bank
I use that lotus, not the gold carbon fibor look, just a normal black i dont remember the price but i dont think it was $30 decent cutter havent had a problem yet.
I noticed the centre of the VX2 is not as sharp as its sides. You'd probably have to cut the thing in half test the sharpness test. I found it strange that the top isn't also as sharp.
@RepublicofDebauchery straight out of the box sadly. I'm getting some rough cuts on one side of the cap. I'm not sure if the cigar is to dry (but doesn't feel like that) or the blades aren't all sharp. I'm not in the USA so the warranty claim postage is basically the same cost as buying a new cutter 🤦♂️ overall, it's like 85-90% of the way there
That's sad to hear. Getting saw dust like flakes in your mouth when trying to enjoy a cigar could ruin that experience. Have you moved on to something new?
@RepublicofDebauchery not yet, i bought this cutter three weeks ago 😅 luckily in the V it's a clean cut, just the cap has a few tiny ragged bits. I've never used a V cut before, but it smokes well and has a good draw. I really like the synchronised guillotine cutter xikar... maybe next year or next Christmas 🤪👀
@@ImranShamsul Yeah, we noticed it had a slightly rough cut too. I prefer the Cigarloong, even though it's made by a chinese company, it's a pretty good value, but can only cut 54 RG and below. We're thinking about reaching out to them and getting branded ones for ourselves for our new site.
If you're looking for a straight cutter, then check out this video: ruclips.net/video/ouy4mDDuy5g/видео.html
I appreciate the production value of this. Not sure how the views don’t match the quality.

Very well done! I wasn't expecting to find something like this on YT.
A better compliment cannot be written. Thank you my friend 💪
This video is what made me buy the cigarloong v cut and I have to say its bang on. Great cutter. Really nice design on it too
That's amazing, honestly, I'm so nervous to put these videos out in case someone is disappointed. I'm glad to hear it's a good recommendation. Thank you brother! 🙌
@@RepublicofDebauchery are these easy to use? In the sense you can’t push the cigar in too far? I always seem to butcher cutting my own cigar.
@@4cavs23 Great question! The answer is YES! V cutters have a set depth, you cannot go too deep with them. Great for novice cigar smokers.

Amazing review. Made my choice easier to pick after this. And then I saw your review on Amazon. Good stuff. And thank you again!
Makes my day when reading comments like yours. Thank you for the kind words and I hope you have a great experience with your cutter.
I saw your comment on Amazon on the cigar long and had to find your video. So very happy I did!!!
This is my favorite comment ever! You made me so happy! Was it easy to find this video for you?
@@RepublicofDebauchery actually it was very easy. I literally just searched v-cutter and it was maybe the second or 3rd video
This is the best news ever! Thank you so much, you really just made my day. And I am glad this video was helpful for you! 😀

Thank you for the good info brother
I have the Cigarloong! I'm glad you reviewed it. The cut is very clean and the weight gives it a quality feel!
Agreed on all accounts.
I love my firebird v cutter!! Same as in video but orange instead of green. Love there single flame torch lighter too
It's hard to beat for the price
Thanks for the helpful test!
Love to hear that man! Happy it helped!

Great video, guys! The table top is my go to at the studio. It pained me to see it dropped and abused 😅

Project Farm of cigar cutters. Thanks guys
Greatest comment ever! Project Farm was 100% the motivation behind these videos.
Amazing vid thank you!
The pleasure is mine. Thank you for the kind words.
I have some bootleg based on the colibri diamond, and it has worked flawlessly for me.
Ha ha, love the honesty.
Thanks for the great quality video

I agree. Nothing over the $20 range has justified its price..... so far
I have the Xikar v cutter no issues yet
I have the Xikar xi1, no complaints
@@RepublicofDebauchery with the exception of two xikar lighters I have past tense owned I have no complaints about xikar products
Same get, great QC

I really liked that one. The serrated edge works really well.

That's the biggest compliment any RUclipsr can ask for. Thank you very much!
Love my colibri quasar
I have yet to meet a single Quasar owner that has regrets. What a great product.
I just bought the big old colibri 🔥🔥🔥
Dayam Baller! That's a great cutter.

That will have to be on the next V Cutter Showdown.
Good cutter. Performs similarly to the VX2 IMO
@@smokesgtp Putting both of these on the list for the next showdown.
Good stuff
