I fully agree it has a real natural feel to it compared to some other TAS videos.
1:25 Look here, how Ken parries the hits from the hadouken, but gets kicked in the shin.
2:17 Now look here. Ken sees the hadouken charging again, but this time he is ready. He not only parries the hadouken, but also parries the shin kick! He has learnt quickly in the short span of this TAS. Follow in his footsteps.

I love the idea that Ken and Ryu are so in sync and know each other’s fighting style so well that they could perfectly counter each other
0:06 - 0:19 is the absolute best thing I have seen in a TAS VS TAS fight. It’s just so precise the way they dodge the attacks.
I love the stylish nature of dodging an attack with the movement of your own attack because it’s so fast and aggressive. You could call it “offensive evasion.”

A friend and i did that a lot in powerstone, arcade. We were trying to hit each other, but we kept catching the boxes. It wasn't simple catch, we were trying to fake and trick each other. We just got good with boxes. Haha

@@hijacked6663 I think the PS2 Version has some Option under Extra Options to allow Fights like these, where you can cancel a move into another move, but I don't remember.
I can imagine this how Ryu and Ken actually did sparring training...
Dude that was so cool! Its the non parry stuff though that really takes it for me, it feels like such a cool fight with actual dodging!
I love this little detail at 2:22. Ken lost round 1 due to getting lowkicked while parrying the Hadouken. So here he learned his lesson. Ryu tries to lowkick again but he is too far away.
So this thing is fully modded so that you can cancel anything into anything, AND it's a TAS?
Now that's some eyecandy.
System settings let you make things crazy
I wish there actually was a cheat mode ingame that let you do these kind of stuff like canceling everything into everything on frame 1, imagine how fun it would be :D
It's a special option from the console versions (DC/PS2) that lets you modify bars, add chain combos, etc. That's why the game loads at the begining.

TAS fights are so entertaining and fascinating to watch. this could very well have been a cutscene or some flash animation, it is so well made
The animation is so great and the parry system so deep, it looks like a cartoon with a fully choreographed fight, custom animated, not assembled from the existing moves
