Bought my first Infiniti in 2005 (G35x) and my last in 2018 (Q50 AWD). The 2005 was on the cutting edge and the last one was technologically inferior inside as well as using cheaper materials compared to the competition. I noticed the design elements of the Q50 were similar to the Altima though Nissan softened some of the creases for the Altima. When they killed off the Q70 and brought in the QX50, I felt like the brand had completely lost its way and wouldn’t be around except as a niche name for Nissan in the North American market by 2030. Even boring Lexus has found ways to put excitement into the old as dirt IS platform by bringing the IS500 to market. Not Nissan, though. Ghosn has been gone for a while, but he laid the groundwork for this brand’s demise.
I like the shape of the Qe but front looks over Cluster with LEDs . Overcrowd with Leds , trimming down would be Better n Elegance . Rear is Well done .
If Infiniti are not gonna release an EV by the end of 2024 I’m sure there not gonna be around by 2030. They making beautiful car designs but their technology is so old
The tech itself isn't "old" it's right on alongside today's standards...remember they were the first to pioneer a lot of todays systems. It's the actual aesthetic & appearance of the interior & tech that feels old. We have yet to see what the interior of the new QX Monograph looks like to really be the judge of this yet.
@@javioncook They just need a big wake up call because their cars doesn’t follow the competition at all for the same price or cheaper you can get a Genesis or Lexus that look way more premium
@@javioncook I'm glad someone else remembers this! Infiniti debuted A LOT of these now standard safety systems and tech. Can't wait til they get the ball rolling again and start innovating again.
Yea... EVs are going to save Infiniti... just as the whole industry is backpedaling on the push for EVs as they realize people are not buying them. EVs are not going to save Infiniti, so they're doing good to hold off til towards the end of the decade.
@@bigd7386 I renember Infiniti had a plan for offering both Ice and EV variants for their cars, but I think they abandoned that for ev only. I think they should re-evaluate their plans.
It’s because of Carlos Ghosn that Nissan/Infiniti didn’t go out of busines essentially. The GTR, G35, FX35, etc. all happened under Ghosn. But on the otherside, there was a lot of cost cutting and quality issues with a lot of their cars. Ghosn was focused on selling cars in high volume and fleet sales with a cheaper made product, which worked but also unfortunately did damage the reputation of Nissan. Now that Ghosn is out, and Nissan has a less of an alliance with Renault, hopefully they can change things around.
Infiniti's future is very dark, their product has hit rock bottom, nothing is competitive, and this Alfonso guy is definitely the wrong guy to fix this company.
I agree...he's NOT the guy! I'm rooting for Infiniti...used to be my favorite brand.. hasn't been for a while though! I REALLY do like that QX80... And finally they ditch using Bose sound! Save that for high trims of Nissan vehicles
Infinity and Nissan are DEAD 💀…. Quality sucks, the horsepower sucks and their designs suck big time!! They haven’t made a great vehicle since the Xterra and Infiniti, FX
Is that dude a Vampire 🧛🏻
😂
Your mom is telling you to "stop it". 😆
Is dracula designing vehicles? Lol

Nissan Infiniti lost my respect when they let Renault and Carlos Ghosn destroy their reliability reputation.

Ghosn actually admitted to producing low quality inferior
Junk after 2000
THe QX has my eye actually. Im a no go on any EV you are trying to push. No thanks.
Who the hell cares about an EV?

I don’t think so. Alfonso is trying all he can with the limited funds available.

Nissan is not dead. Infiniti will be dead if the qx80 fails.
