I mean in such close proximity I doubt miking matters much as I suspect we are hearing mostly direct sound…but it probably then is a result of Eric being much closer to the recording device (there’s an audible difference in volume)
@@alihuggins2946 Often times, loudness differences are something that people don’t knowingly pick up…but many people tend to perceive loudness differences as tonal differences…for example they might say something louder sounds “punchier”/ “meatier” /etc, but maybe not enough for them to outright pick it up as loudness. It makes sense because our ears vary in how good they are at picking up certain frequencies (or tonal characteristics) at different decibel levels…hence there is a loudness war happening with modern pop music as everything is increasingly compressed, because it tends to sound better to the masses
This shit is a epidemic people going to church doing solis in every song all day long . Eric has been doing this same shit for 20 years. This is why Eric doesnt play for a label artist and never will. He was the wrong guy for ST this is all he knows
There should be more sheds like this, amongst the elite drummer. They both did extremely well, getting this shed is the winner here.
😊😊😊😊😊two top drummers
That is the most ferocious shed I’ve seen in a long time
The lick shariq did at the 4:06 mark he went straight ultra instinct on eric, eric couldn't come back after that
Eric Moore is the best 💓💯💯💯‼️‼️😮😮😮
He got clapped
One handed single stroke rolls with each hand...stick control 1000% nevermind him dropping a stick later on
I think shariq broke his pedal too
That one lick shariq did eric almost didn't recover from that!
you mean the one where he got salty? priceless haha
Both Beasts. Maybe Eric's set was miked better. But I'm always amazed by his playing.

@@bg357wg I haven't noticed volume difference. I will listen on another device. Thx
