Awesome video Jen very nice. at 8 minutes in we call them berries on the tree dog berries, my uncle used to make dog berry wine i tried it once but it didn't taste that good. take care and have a great week
Very cool. Thanks for sharing this interesting story. The berries smell not that great, so I bet the wine had a bit of a different flavour. Maybe an acquired taste! Thanks for watching.
Hey Jen/Royce - Is it a labradoodle? My mom got a smaller version, so loveable ❤ Lots of miles in a lovely car - Fantastic views , lots of trials with 🐕 , Fossils ,museum Great to see the foraging and you saw some wild animals I was lucky to see a herd of elk, male elk calling , juvenile bear foraging ,grey wolf 🐺 and a few more .Yes, up early You could pre plan this if it's important for you to see ,I did Are there many free dispersing campsites or how to find them than googling them Stunning views- Well worth the effort to see all this history - I helped a fellow Canadian with a cancer run and support in Uk 🇬🇧 for mom who lost an ear 10 years ago ,Great to hear on Mr Terry Foxes story 🙏
Royce is a Bovier des Flandres, herding breed. He is the best woodland companion! I saw much more wildlife in western Canada vs out east. If I wasn't always on the go to the next campsite or had more time, I'd drive the bush roads at the crack of dawn. So glad you were able to support a great cause!
Hi Jen, the dome mountain behind you, at Sugarloaf, reminds me of the domed granite rock" Enchanted Rock," Fredericksburg Texas. I wonder what's below the surface of the Sugarloaf mountain?
The fossils were just amazing. What a beautiful trip.
Yes, I loved my time at Miguasha looking at fossils. Thanks for watching!
Thank you Jen 🩷
You're welcome. Thanks for coming along!
Such beauty. Thank you.

To this day, the mere mention of Terry Fox's name brings tears to my eyes. 🥇 Awesome video, Jen. I love flank season camping.👍😎🇨🇦
He's a real hero to all Canadians! Camping this time of year can be so rewarding.

It is thought to be an old volcano or the like from the Devonian period. Cool, eh?
Too bad there were no fish . Very pricey permits for sure .
Yes, I was surprised! My QC fishing license was very pricey too so wasn't worth the extra.
