  • In this episode we cover the replacement of the upper control arms in a 1968 Mercury Cougar. The right side upper arm had failed and broken through the bushing mount area while driving the car one afternoon. Follow along as we replace the arms on these upper spring mount systems. This is same suspension set up that find in all the early Mustangs.

Those front springs always tend to give me a pucker. Something you really need to be careful with. Wishing you the best in the new year.

Good job Dave. Rebuilding front suspensions is not easy.
