I really love your idea! So much even, that I started this project myself and now I am experiencing the same issue as you: How the hell can you rotate the screen for the tv-display! 🙂 I couldn't find this project on your website, so I would like to know how you solved this issue? Dit you use the program scrcpy? Or did you use SecondScreen or are there are ways to accomplish the rotation?
Thanks for the kind words! Regarding the display rotation, it was definitely a lot of banging my head on my desk but SecondScreen was indeed the route I took. There are also adb commands to accomplish the same thing, but no matter what, it seems that the device HAS TO be on Android 10 or below... this was the most frustrating part of it all. When set up with SecondScreen it can still be a bit finicky on start up but once up and running you're generally good until you need to restart the phone (which would be rare).
