I’m a bit worried about the rubber on these new furbies. Rubber starts to deteriorates after a few years. The 2005 furbies have rubber beaks, and they’re aging horribly. I’m worried the same will happen with the 2023 furbies
i’m not too worried about it just because it feels very durable and almost as hard as plastic. it doesn’t feel like it’d decay as bad as the 2005 furbys and we also have better quality rubber latex etc now
As much I enjoy the g5 of furby, They do have a few design flaws such as them not having a moving beak and completely remove the tail. I would've wanted a furby with a big Funky Furby style tail!
Here's some ideas that would make the furby better 1: a moving beak 2: a way to update so some bugs or issues a furby has can be resolved 3: maybe make it so it just listens for you to say "Hey Furby" instead of you pressing its heart gem 4: (as a continuation of 3) make it have a way to tell jokes and ways to ask the furby about itself and what color it likes and what is its favorite pizza topping and each furby having their own name you can ask your Furby what it's name is and it is any name like how one of the furblets were named hip-bop. Those were my ideas also different eye colors are needed
I am just happy this time Polish version is actually translated quite well. The songs sometimes dont ryme properly, but rest of the phrases are done REALLY well. My fav new feature is the meditation. SUCH a great idea and its executed really well. I hope kids will like it and use it as well. I also heard many people have problems with the heart button not working after a week or two... Thats scares me.
I regret paying full price for my coral one. I like them well enough but I got my purple one for $25 and honestly that made me like it more lol. Despite growing up in the 90s my fave furby gen is the connect (I know unpopular opinion lol) The static beak on the 2023 and the flatish body shape just aren't my favorite. I love the furblings this gen tho!

I’m so glad you finally got the Tie-Dye Rainbow 2023 Furby for Christmas and seeing all three colors we got of the 2023 Furby look really cute together! I also really like how you shared your opinions about the 2023 Furbies like the design and the flaws they can have. I’ve actually seen some others that have 2023 Furbies with the exact same tilt sensor issue (that your Purple one has) where they think they’re being shaken when they’re not, some were from stores and some were from Amazon too. I’ve also heard of a couple getting ones that come with non-working beak/mouth button to feed them which seems rather more cheap quality on Hasbro’s part tbh. Thankfully my Coral and Purple ones (both I bought from my local Walmart) don’t have any issues with that but I still keep an eye on them as I play with them to make sure nothing happens, so it could also be a matter of luck sometimes too. I definitely think the whole point with the flaws for the way the 2023 Furbies are made is basically rushed into production as even though the design of the Furby itself is adorable on the outside, the inside and the number of ones that have issues like this isn’t really great at all. We already know that Furby Booms commonly also have tilt sensor issues as well which may have also been rushed into production but at least they’re made better than the 2023s. I think the Furbies since 2005 were basically rushed into production were each probably could’ve been better with some features that would’ve made them each more interesting like there are some that were basically just left unfinished like the Furby Connects are one of them and the 2023 Furbies were basically a letdown for the quality of how they’re designed and what they do anyways, besides the command feature being good. The only Furbies that are the most complete and weren’t rushed were the Furbies from 1998-2001 since they actually did pretty much everything they were intended to do, and don’t usually have much issues (besides the JT ones for the Original 90s and Furby Babies that do) as back then, Hasbro and Tiger Electronics cared about the creativity for the features making them more popular and really worth getting while nowadays (especially present day) since 2005, they probably just wanted to try convince people to buy Furbies again by evolving different design models with different, fun features and cared about money more rather than making each do what they’ve could’ve done to begin with. I also never knew that the way 2023 Furbies communicate with each other while in Furbar Mode, it’s by hearing with their mics as I thought it was just some sort of connection where one sends signals to the other one(s) to respond kinda like how the previous model Furbies did like the 90s communicating with the IR sensor, 2005 with possible signals even though that’s unconfirmed how that works for them, 2012s/Booms/Furbacca with high pitch signals, and Connects with Bluetooth signals. It’s pretty interesting that Hasbro went with that part, but even so, their communication feature is pretty dumbed down compared to the previous Furbies anyways and at least their interactions are so adorable while all they do is tell different jokes and sing one harmony song. So I would say the 2023 Furbies are okay for those specific reasons but they’re still fun to own as they still could’ve been better like if they made the eyes expressive, the beak/mouth more, and much more.
The cheap quality for the 2023's are probably also because Hasbro wanted to price them as low as possible as the Connect did not sell well at all due to its £100 retail price.
@@MonochromeMoths That’s possible, but the prices that the 2023 Furbies are going for is more similar to the Furby Furbaccas that also retailed around over $70 even though it is still a lot, and even though the 2023 Furbies have over 600 phrases, they don’t nearly do as much as the previous Furbies did like the Furby Connects did a whole lot more than that. The Furby Connects did retail for $99.99 at stores but it wasn’t just because of poor sales, but it was also the bugs/glitches involved that everyone complained to Hasbro about as that was basically what made the Connects flop. If Hasbro didn’t rush the Furby Connects out of production and gave them what they were going to have like the scrapped six personalities, then they probably would’ve sold well even though they still would go for a lot of money. They also could’ve made sure they wouldn’t have glitches like this that make people return them and stuff, but at least their design quality is better than the 2023 Furby. Whoever’s idea it was to make the 2023 Furbies dumbed down was a bad move on their part because it basically ruined the whole vibe of what Furby is supposed to be like, no matter what model it is. Of course it’ll never beat the Original 1998 Furbies since those are the iconic classics, they’re still fun to own though

I think the condition of the furb depends on how expensive it is, for example if the 2012 furby or boom is still NIB (new in box) it may cost a pretty penny. Either way I give you good luck in getting one from one furby fan and collector to another!
I’m in the UK and the Tie -Dye Furby 2023 is exclusive to a shop called “Smyths Toys Super Stores” I got the Furby and sadly he broke. He was working fine and then started malfunctioning. He wouldn’t respond to me pressing the heart gem. Because I couldn’t turn him off using the heart Gem, I turned him off by laying him on his back. I then went to turn him on again and nothing happened. I reset the furby and all that would happen is that the heart gem would glow. I tried replacing the batteries and the same thing happened.
My amazon preorder coral has had the tilt sensor issue since day one. With all of the issues I've seen I'm a bit concerned they are going to be like the 05s in a few years. :(

I kind of wished they made the “boy” furbies. I know it sounds kind of stereotypical and weird of me to say but these seem to be marketed very clearly to little girls and they would sell a lot better if they sold more options and toned down the cringe factor. The furby boom was the best type imo. Thanks for the video
My little cousin got the purple one for Christmas. The humor was surprisingly entertaining. Even though I'm a grown-up who doesn't collect things, I'd be tempted to buy the orange one. I'd like a blue one better, but orange is the least girly of the bunch.

Honestly, I’m super happy they returned to the mechanical eyes, but I feel like something is missing with them. They just feel kinda flat and lifeless. Super unfortunate they ditched the moving beaks though, kills a lot of the “realism” and interactivity with them for me that previous furbies had, even with all the new features. I wouldn’t have minded paying a bit more if they’d made them a lil’ bit better regarding those issues. But I’m satisfied with them regardless :3 Hoping in the future they feed the 98 furb fans with a new release instead of just using them to market merch 😂
im just really sad cus my cat sent my Furby flying and after that it worked fine until literally the most stereotypical Furby thing happened it turned on randomly and I couldn't turn it off and the buttons like half worked? like the reset combo worked but trying to press them normally did nothing, sometimes it would fix itself but then then go back into this glitch mode and ive just had the battery off ever since to avoid being woken up :( and its sad cus I don't think anyone else has had this problem so there's no advice out there how to fix it I think ill just have to take it apart myself and see if anything works :(
On xmas, i got the coral 2023 furby, he came feom amazon, named him Maple, i turned him on for the setup thingy, turned him off, he never turned back on

2:05 as someone who listens to kpop and obviously likes furbys (prefer the og 90s furbys, currently have my 01 Shelby and gizmo furby sitting beside me as I type this), I despise the fact that there is minor idols and minors should be banned from debuting - no ifs or buts. I also hate the hypocrisy where the fans think debuting minors is not great but then have also defended the company in their past responses to me calling fans out for supporting instead of boycotting the company (or putting the group on hiatus until all of the members are adults). I hate the fans attitudes thinking that there is nothing that that they can do, there is, but their too "delulu" to actually do it! I also hate how their fans go "tHeIr FoLlwInG tHeIr DrEaM" crap. Grrr they piss me off! So avoid minor groups at all costs guys, support companies debuting adults instead, because it's also ageist by debuting minors instead of adults! Gee, they sure took away the digital eye animations but left in the eyelid moving and took away the mouth animation! What they should’ve kept is the mouth animation and the digital animations! The on/off switch should’ve been obviously placed. Like, at the bottom of the base. Do you agree or not?
Non-LCD eyes are fine, I think. It allows for people to easily customize them, much like the 1998 ones. Plus, Booms and Connects both had LCD issues. The lack of mouth movement really, really sucks. I hate it.
While I like the designs, they don't fit in with the rest of the furbys, the connect managed to look proper while still being round, they also don't have the electronic eyes that the last two gens have had, as well as them not moving their actual bodies much, I love the idea of the light of ears and the idea of them singing songs together, but I also feel like they just don't learn, at least my curvy booms learned a tiny bit, they just look to much like the furblings which makes them seem weird
Honestly I really dislike a lot of the choices they made with these. They speeak fluent english, the music is weird, i wouldnt want music coming outta my dog, the beaks dont move, the super girly designs which makes them look like every other toy in the girls isle at the store. They feel super uninspired and lame. And the voice is so annoying and not in a cute charming way like the others

2:05 as someone who listens to kpop and obviously likes furbys (prefer the og 90s furbys, currently have my 01 Shelby and gizmo furby sitting beside me as I type this), I despise the fact that there is minor idols and minors should be banned from debuting - no ifs or buts. I also hate the hypocrisy where the fans think debuting minors is not great but then have also defended the company in their past responses to me calling fans out for supporting instead of boycotting the company (or putting the group on hiatus until all of the members are adults). I hate the fans attitudes thinking that there is nothing that that they can do, there is, but their too "delulu" to actually do it! I also hate how their fans go "tHeIr FoLlwInG tHeIr DrEaM" crap. Grrr they piss me off! So avoid minor groups at all costs guys, support companies debuting adults instead, because it's also ageist by debuting minors instead of adults! Givening adults less of a chance to debut!

Non-LCD eyes are fine, I think. It allows for people to easily customize them, much like the 1998 ones. Plus, Booms and Connects both had LCD issues.
The lack of mouth movement really, really sucks. I hate it.

Reminds my of my old dog before he died. Couldn't hear a thing, staired at walls for minutes at a time, and randomly jumped up as if touched.
While I like the designs, they don't fit in with the rest of the furbys, the connect managed to look proper while still being round, they also don't have the electronic eyes that the last two gens have had, as well as them not moving their actual bodies much, I love the idea of the light of ears and the idea of them singing songs together, but I also feel like they just don't learn, at least my curvy booms learned a tiny bit, they just look to much like the furblings which makes them seem weird

I really hate these furbies cause you can tell they’re trying to target them to young girls instead of it being like unisex
Honestly I really dislike a lot of the choices they made with these. They speeak fluent english, the music is weird, i wouldnt want music coming outta my dog, the beaks dont move, the super girly designs which makes them look like every other toy in the girls isle at the store. They feel super uninspired and lame. And the voice is so annoying and not in a cute charming way like the others
I don't really like the new eyes honestly, AI think they should've stuck with the digital eyes like they did with the furby connect
