Haha, the part where the people suddenly swarm you just because you have a camera on a tripod. I know this all to well from my travels. Even works if you don't take a photo and just pretend there is a subject sometimes ;-)

5am at the bamboo forest at the end of May 2023 and had the place to myself for a solid hour. What an experience!

My favorite series from you guys. Probably the reason I’m a fan.
Next time, just have me come along Lee. I’m a super well experienced traveler in a pretty fine camera operator.

9:01 I notice that same phenomenon in the gym. Get a good pump from equipment in the gym that is rarely used, and you'll never have access to it again as other inexperienced members begin mimic your workout routine.

Photography in Japan that can’t happen in an instant snap is pretty much impossible. Also very easy to run afoul of proprietors since most places are quite unhappy with setting up a tripod.

How are you shooting the autumn leaves? It's currently still summer in Japan and the Japanese borders weren't open last autumn . Autumn leaves aren't expected until October.
What area are you in? Is there something I'm missing?

@@johnbecker1996 thanks John. My mistake. I'm going next month and got excited about the autumn leaves.
