Growing cabbage in the south is not easy. Yours are beautiful!!!! Ok, I love fermenting, you did a great job! The cabbage rolls are a new must for me! YUMMMMM. I don't eat rice and I love veggies, so those look perfect!!!! Good job. IT is so rewarding to freeze and can what you grow. I cut cabbages up in steaks about a inch or inch and half and freeze, take out in the morning and stick in frig, back at supper time. NICE to have it year around.
Yes you must try making cabbage rolls! I love how you can load them up with healthy veggies. I’ll definitely try freezing some of my other cabbage as you suggested. Thanks for watching!
I’m in Ohio & I struggle with cabbage. I realized I need to start them in January to have a successful harvest. Great job on your harvest. Everything looked delicious.
I cooked for 29 years professional, first time I see cabbage rolls, I have to try this recipe now.. :) garden looks good, , I try cabbage planting cabbage 3 times but no luck weather here is too crazy. you should try "curtido" similar taste to Sauerkraut.
I love cauliflower roasted steaks, but cauliflower chowder on a cold day is the best! I used Damn Delicious recipe. Tweaked it a bit and made it spicy with hot peppers, but it is so good, and mostly guilt free lol
Personally I’ve been growing all my melons and squash vertically. Anything that CAN be grown vertical, I try to grow vertical. That prevents a handful of pests including rabbits right there. Most of my crops that wouldn’t be suited for vertical growing, I plant in raised beds the rabbits can’t get into. I know it’s not really a quick fix answer. But I do find where I plant the certain crops, really helps with pest pressure. Last year rabbits and squirrels got to my melons too, so this year I’m growing them all vertical.

Cabbage is tricky for sure. I think a lot of it is the timing. Thank you for watching!

I've been getting some rabbit pressure on my melons, cucumbers, corn, and okra. Any recommendations?
