Love the recaps, Levy. Thanks for what you do.
Absolute respect for Ian gaining 2500 ELO points back in a day 🗿
Man I have seen so many brilliant moves by many GMs but this d5 has to be my favourite one. What a move✨
That endgame is another example of the idea that the best defense is good offense
You missed the opportunity to name this video “HE WON AGAIN!!!”
ding's ability to find the best moves is very scary
Ladies and gentlemen, Ian is an absolutely fantastic and respectful competitor but from now on, we're "Ding supporting".
Not me, though
d5 was such a brilliancy most commentators couldn't even figure out why Ding played it and thought he messed up
Yes they marked it as a mistake
Exactly it took 2 GMs several minutes to figure out and Ding saw it several moves before. Just insane.
but how excited Anish got, when he figured it out 😄
That moment it dawned on David…fantastic
d5 was beautiful, but Anish explaining which GMs would - due to their search algorithms - be able to find the Computer Move Rb7 was also great. Would've liked to see a short analysis by Gotham of why Rb7 is so strong.
When you remove the top dog. The championship is actually exciting again!
I never imagined a day where I would be watching the chess championship over NBA playoffs.
I´ve never thought I will ever be as escited about watching a chess WC as I am these days.. pure drama and greatness we are witnessing!! I love chess ❤
Today's stare was different from usual, the other ones felt casual and playful...this one though....was enough to pierce into my soul..... 9/10
Great recap as usual Levy. I especially liked the part where Ding said "It's Dinging time" and then Dinged all over the place.
At 2:15 epic voiceover guy: "In a world... chess championship"
‘Those two things are not correlated’
🤣🤣
Todays stare was truly phenomenal 12/10
I liked the part when Ding said "its chilling time" and ding chilled all over the board
I liked the part when people stopped copying this overused comment

Dude is apologizing for being late wtf ??? he took a flight and prepared a recap for us, he has my outmost respect, thank you gotham, you make chess look less boring 🤝🏻♥️
We need the Ian and Ding looking at each other thumbnail or smth
This will be remembered forever as Ding's D5
I was sad that Magnus didn't want to compete but thanks to it we found our new hero!
I don't like both states of the finalists but thanks to Ding's personality I have new chess player that I can happily support and cheer for
