I was looking for something that sounded balanced, not too much bass, and had a natural sound. I bought Wan'er, 7hz Zero, and Gate. I prefer Gate and it's not even close.
@@ShardsoundsSadly, moisture issues can't really be universally fixed. It's a problem with all Metal Shell IEMs. If you live somewhere generally cold/humid, moisture builds up in your ears and block the nozzles. I wish I knew about this problem before I bought my Simgot EW200.
@@Shardsounds I'm pretty sure it's because most if not all Wired Moondrop IEMs have Metal shells. Thus, moisture issues still happen, regardless of the drivers. I own the Moondrop Space Travel (TWS) which is also a single DD yet I never get moisture issues because it's an All Plastic shell.
I’m surprised to see that the Kiwi Ears Cadenza isn’t on the Hangout site, I know Timmy doesn’t care for it much but it seems to be a general fan-favorite. Has Crin by chance openly given his opinion on it somewhere?
I like bright sets, and then I found the CCA CRA (silent update). I didn't have to look any further. Surprising clarity and detail at that price. I prefer it over the TinHiFi C2 and that's no slouch either.
I still have my Hola as daily drivers (correct spelling in the box version). Love the cable and the sound. I have been waiting for a good replacement at the same pricepoint, but there's no competition lol. My only gripe is the obviously unemphasized high-end. A tiny bass boost, better mid-range compliance and a 2db boost in the high end is perfect.
I think slight treble boost will make even better. Its cable is brilliance for the price. It easily surpasses my waner and edx pro cable combine, that is how good it is imho.
why you shouldn't buy the gate(in my opinion): if you already have the hola. I got one gate as a gift and let's say that I prefer the hola, guess I am more of a bass lover.
Mine at least measure identically, but with a different tilt. I found Gate shouty, the bass poor quality and lacking in amount to balance that. 3/5 for me while Hola was 4/5.
just had the 7hz 2 for like 3 days and they hurt my ears like crazy!! Hope these are more comfy but I think I need an IEM that doesnt go behind the ear
Got it a few days ago, upper mid.s actually hurt on louder listening levels (or should I say falls apart...). At least it took EQ well enough, will use till I get something better from another brand.

My Hola hovers inside my ear. There is no eartips that helps me 😢 It’s a shame. Tri clarion help me appreciate my Hola for 20 minutes and after that they fall from my ears I believe they are very light idk Help some one? 😅
I have same problem with gate it’s a very shallow shell. Deeper insertion tips like some generic jvc dual flange helped a bunch and now the gate sounds incredibly good, especially for its price
Why iems should be metal? For more "premium" look? I personally can't use metal iems because they're getting cold outside and when you put some cold metal in your ear - it doesn't feel great. Plastic is the best for me, don't care about look, but Gate look actually good
i wonder how ALL these budget iem works with expensive(relatively) balanced setup. i recently soldered a 1$ MX300 clone to a 4.4 plug(cost me 2$ 😂), shit evolved into the mid tier stuff.
