I'm conflicted. While the gameplay looks super original and well developed, the Winnie theming feels inelegantly bolted on. If I had to guess, this game was in development for a while but they slapped the new theme on it when Winnie the Pooh entered public domain to try to boost attention.
so, in the porcupine fight when you were about to lose your shield, it only happened when the enemy had spikes, what was happening is that when a target with spike takes damage, they deal damage back, and you had a perk that dealt damage to any enemy that hit you for less than your entire shield, you created a feedback loop, you hit them, spike triggers and hits you for 1, the perk then triggers and hits them for 3, and then the loop starts over, and the way the game decides to handle this is by saying "F*ck it, you lose your shield and insta kill the enemy"
@@TheIndieBuffet honestly, even if it's a bug I hope the dev keeps it, it's a good way to balance what would otherwise be an OP combo without making it useless, it makes it so that even if you can get thousands of shield you can still lose a run if you aren't careful, and with how insanely powerful shield builds can get, having a counter to them that doesn't feel like complete BS is great to see
Just because you _can_ subvert something cute and harmless into something grotesquely terrifying doesn't mean you _shouldn't._ I only clicked because of sheer bile fascination, but as soon as I saw Rabbit, I stopped watching. Poor Pooh-bear....
I love that this game was made by the same devs, who created Ring of Pain.
Yeeessss. You can see their touches
Love how there is no time limit, you can take your time to do the best moves!
I really appreciated this too. Gave me a good chance at really forming some good moves

Good theory but the timing kinda makes it questionable, winnie the pooh has been public for a pretty good while so it might not be for attention

Hahaha it was so weird to be. I love it though!

This feels unhinged.. the good kind its the same feeling we had with palworld
Thanks for uploading this today. Really fun game play
Loved it!

Eh to each their own. It's interesting what they are doing gameplay wise
hey just stumbled on to this video and i love your content so far but you need a new mic
Working on this! Getting a chance to possibly upgrade by the end of the weekend!
What the hell.
Probably the reaction they were looking for. Kinda what I said before I played it
I doubt Winnie the Pooh is public domain. I hope for the developers that it is different enough not to hold up in court.
My dude it is easily, easily provable that it is in the public domain and has been since 2022. Google helps.
It actually famously is so, AS LONG AS you do not use the design with the red shirt.
Glad to hear because I wanna rock more of this disease!
iirc wasn't there a Winnie based horror movie that was announced like the exact same day that Winnie entered public domain?
It was a horror film wasn’t it?
