My answer is x=2 square root of 17+6

Cancel out radical and ² and then find square root of 68
x+6=±2 square root of 17+6 transpose 6
x=±2 square root of17+6

U forgot a small detail: the right hand side should be -32 + 36,
So therefore (x + 6)² = 4.
x + 6 = ± square root of 4 which is ±2.
X = -6 ± 2

X² + 12x + 36 = -32 + 36
(X +6)² = +- 4 (with square root)
X + 6 = +- 2
X = - 2-6 | X = +2 - 6
X= -8 | X = -4

No you're wrong - 32+36 is 4 not-4 cause 36 is positive and it is bigger than - 32. So you should copy the sign

I solved that last one in my head using the AC method; it factored out to (x + 4)(x + 8), and the values of x were {-4, -8}.
