Jimmy admits his faults and misgivings and helps you learn how to be a better Christian drawing experience from his own mistakes. Jimmy makes understanding Christian values so easy that it makes Catch of the Day a great Daily Devotional for Youth as well.
Jimmy has been a long time member of the Fellowship of Christian Anglers Society(FOCAS), and is a strong believer in power of fishing as a tool to become, in Christ's words, Fishers of Men. As more and more people turn away from traditional, organized religion, it's time Christians embrace Jesus's message of love and kindness to reach others for Christ with a servants heart, and be a living witness for Jesus. With over 50 years as a professional angler, and over 40 years on television with his show Jimmy Houston Outdoors, he has used his public platform to reach others for Christ. Jimmy Houston credits his years of success to his faithful walk with Christ and Devotion to the lord. He admits he struggles but works everyday to live for Jesus and become a better ambassador for Christ's love.

Good morning family ! We are welcoming a new family member to the farm today . My daughter found a puppy in the middle of the road on the mountain yesterday. He was covered in rocks and fleas and very skinny . He’s bathed , no more fleas or ticks ! He’s headed tot he vet for shots and a check up ! I believe God always sends animals to us here because we never turn away a stray ! I don’t hi l the puppy knows he hit the lottery having my daughter find him !! He will have a very happy life here ! Praying for Mrs Chris and our entire CABL family to have a blessed day today 😊

Hello Jimmy it's Bill how are you hope all is well and hope all is well with Chris to Jimmy and Jimmy I want to thank you for an awesome Daily Devotional message and scripture today from The Book of Proverbs Jimmy I agree with you 100% it should be taught to school yes we should also have prayer in our schools also Jimmy I agree with that 100% and Jimmy yes we should all be very forgiving and understanding and slow to anger absolutely our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was slow to anger with all of us and forgiving of all our sins and transgressions and iniquities amen praise the lord we must do the same Jim absolutely I agree and I do that's for sure y'all know what I mean Jimmy hope everything's working out that appearance and event in Ardmore and hope everything is going well let me know how you make out Jim always great to hear and I always appreciate hearing from you and also Jimmy thank you for our awesome fishing tip good refresher absolutely for sure and yes Jimmy crankbaits are working well here also and they are hitting them and we are whacking them with crankbaits in most situations y'all know what I mean by that one LOL well Jim we didn't get much rain at all in fact nothing probably I guess you want to say it all for Friday night and we received here I had received here at the farm.03 inches hardly nothing at all we really need rain we got just a little over an inch for the month and that is not good at all Jimmy hoping we can get some rain but I don't know and starting Tuesday will be in the 90s low 90s to mid-90s everyday for probably 6 or 7 days they were talking so this will be like our second heat wave overnight Lowe's upper 60s low 70s I'm sure that dew point will be high I'll let you know okay Jim I'll definitely talk to you soon stay in touch when you can Jim it's always great to hear from you and God bless you Jimmy God bless Chris and the family and I sure do love you all very very dearly!
