Jimmy has been a long time member of the Fellowship of Christian Anglers Society(FOCAS), and is a strong believer in power of fishing as a tool to become, in Christ's words, Fishers of Men. As more and more people turn away from traditional, organized religion, it's time Christians embrace Jesus's message of love and kindness to reach others for Christ with a servants heart, and be a living witness for Jesus. With over 50 years as a professional angler, and over 40 years on television with his show Jimmy Houston Outdoors, he has used his public platform to reach others for Christ. Jimmy Houston credits his years of success to his faithful walk with Christ and Devotion to the lord. He admits he struggles but works everyday to live for Jesus and become a better ambassador for Christ's love.

I’d say that’s the most important part in our lives. How we treat others. Be it family or friends or neighbors or anyone. It’s how we treat them. How we interact. How we show ourselves. Not to be accusing or slandering. It is from where we once were when God showed his love and mercy and forgiveness. It always comes back to that. And just really who is God using. Or who are we being sent to. Either way, God sees it and it can be on a good note to know that we fulfilled our mission. So we can stand before God and hear the words: “Well done, good and faithful servant.” -Matthew 25:21. What a glorious day that will be. Jesus is coming back and he is the only way. Good message from Jimmy today. God bless Jimmy and his family and God bless everyone else on this Thursday morning. Prayers for Israel and America and the rest of the world. Punching mats is when you take some sort of soft plastic creature bait, Texas rigged with a heavy slip sinker (up to 2 oz.) and pitch it up in the air over floating matted vegetation. When it comes down, the heavy weight helps punch the bait through the vegetation to the open water underneath, where the bass are.
we have the power to lift up or destroy, all by what we say or sometimes don't say. our tongue is truly a two edged sword, plus either builds up our witness or destroys it. sometimes what we say is remembered forever and never forgotten nor forgiven. Let our tongue be as the tongue of Jesus, as well as our actions. It is hard to reflect Jesus with hateful or foul words coming out of our mouths. Even the tone or the way that we use words can either build up or tear down. The Law was cruel and impossible, so Jesus brought in the Age of Grace, thus was the Plan of Salvation made available even to the non Jew like most of us. But soon, this Age will be over and then comes the Judgement, and Jesus will not be forgiving but a decisive Judge. He will separate His Flock from the non believers as they are judged and cast into hell for eternity. Do you know Jesus as your personal Risen Lord and Savior? So Shine on Brother, for His forgiveness and Salvation are sweet to the heart!

Hello Jimmy it's Bill how are you hope all is well and hope all is well with Chris Jimmy of course and Jimmy I want to start out to wish you and Chris a very happy Independence Day and Jimmy also want to thank you for our awesome Daily Devotional message and scripture today from the book of Ephesians Jimmy 100% correct we must watch what we say coming out of our mouths you know to be little or degrade people using bad language bad words is not necessary and we should not do this add Jimmy I agree that goes for all of us and we should look at good encouraging things to others absolutely and if we lose a PB or break a line or lose a lure that we really like we must understand they can be replaced and we don't need to get all upset and worried about it and if it affected our fishing for the day unfortunately Jimmy that is what's happened and there's not much we can do about it we just have to learn to live with that and understand it I I agree I agree 100% Jim Jimmy hope your holiday is going well today and hope everyone at the ranch is doing well or dear friends and my Benelli I saw walking in the background lol lol😂 and I hope our little dear friends and the babies are doing really really well and I got to slide over there and catch a few videos Jim and if you doing any fishing or something for the holiday or anything at all many blessings to you and Chris and always hoping for good weather for you is weather here is going to be hot and very humid and right now as we speak I'm in my office and right now it's 90° and the relative humidity is 60% or dew point temperature for the oppressiveness of humidity is 71° and our heat index is 100° we do have a chance of rain Jim with a falling barometer here and chance of thunderstorms and showers and all kinds of good stuff oh boy you know what I mean by that y'all and also we have a chance for for the next 3 days so we'll see what happens with that yeah I hope your weather is doing good Jim I don't know how hot it's been let me know always great to hear and doing any fishing for the holiday always great to hear about that too Jim and I always appreciate it appreciate you sharing and always look forward to our conversation all right I'll definitely talk to you soon stay in touch when you can and God bless you Jimmy God bless Chris and the family and I sure do love you all very very dearly!!
