    May I ask what Megasquirt version are using eg PNPGen 2 or Ms3Pro PNP? I would like to go ITB build for a Miata/MX5 and was leaning towards the PNp 2. Any chance you may do more tuning videos?

    This is helpful. I'm in the beginning phase of rebuilding, adding ITBS to and megasquirting my '71 Volvo B20. There seems to be many haters out there in the community when it comes to ITBS. Toss in a turbo and you're just asking to be burned. :)

      Thank you for watching my videos! yeah what you say is true but you cant please everyone hahaha. Ive been meaning to make new videos explaining the tuning strategy that i used

      Absolutely any additional data on MS and ITBS is welcome. :)

      Watched your video again and had some additional questions. I'm not sure how implementing an IACV would help since ITBS do not close completely so it really wouldn't have impact on idle would it?

    • @SuperWepawepa

      I use one to compensate the load when im running my A/C. It will also help with start up amongst other things.

      Isn't 60-70kpa better than 50kpa? 50=14.7Hg vs 70kpa = 20.6Hg and I thought we always wanted a higher vacuum vs lower? Sorry just a bit confused over why I would want that to be lower?

    Sorry If i overheard that in another video. did mention how you are collecting each runners vacuum?

    HI there, was that ignition table tuned on a dyno? the timing seems pretty high even for 93. I am tuning my itb setup as well, just wanna see how it compares to mine. Thanks

    • @SuperWepawepa
      @SuperWepawepa  8 лет назад

      +Kenneth Lee Yeah i was running a lot of timing on that map. No dyno tune. As of now i changed the entire map and this one is wayyyyy better than the one on the video.

    I have Neptune v2 and I'm trying to figure out how to blend tps and map also ignition timing

      96 spec integra what software does the Neptune use? Is it tuner studio? If so I can tell you

      SuperWepawepa it's Neptune rtp it's similar to hondata

    I hope you see this, how does it switch from the vaccuum based map to the tps based map?

      sugoi wow that is a topic that i would have to write an essay on. If you have instagram contact me on the chat the cause it would be easier 1996bpzemiata but i would gladly try to help you. What specifically is it doing ?

    • @sugoi4983

      Blipping the throttle either goes almost full lean, rich, or lean then rich if that makes any sense lol. Ill go mess with it tomorrow then dm you on gram. I'm pretty much a complete noob running the base map for a 94 1.8

    • @SuperWepawepa
      @SuperWepawepa  7 лет назад

      Dont worry im still a noob too! Yeah i totally understand what you are saying and that has happpened to me too. The guideline would be to instead of trying to chase a specific AFR while tipping in, it is best to tune it for a crisp acceleration without going too too rich do you get me?

      @SuperWepawepa  7 лет назад

      sugoi did you get it sorted out?

    Did you have any experience with tuning before or are you kinda teaching yourself as you go with the miata?

    • @SuperWepawepa
      @SuperWepawepa  6 лет назад +1

      Taylor Young I played a little bit with a wrx that I had before but the was flash tuning. With the Miata is were I went full standalone and yes I taught myself hahaha

    i don’t get why we need 2 VE tables (one alpha N and one map based) . i read documentations, i use my brain as hard as i can but still don’t get it.
    if you need fuel, why not adding it in the first table.
    maybe can you give me an example so i can get it . like…in what situation does the kpa increase and the tps does not , and when both kpa and tps reach the 100 axis and need fuel from VE 1 and 2.
    i don’t know if i’m clear 😂😂

      I just happened on this video and your question. I'm not a tuner but my studies say that vacuum drops greatly at relatively low throttle openings with ITBs. After about 50% throttle the vacuum is near zero and doesn't change much so unless you have a way to tell the software that the engine has more throttle opening it won't know to add more fuel. kPa is used in the first table for this and TPS is used in the second table to give the software a reference for fuel at higher throttle openings.

      @@kennethstaszak9990im a small tuner and i own the 4age itb st, its hell literally to tune. Any slight opening of the throttle will cause the engine to pull too much air so most of them time you will be at very high kpa if your wot or half throttle it will still be on 100kpa. The ecu doesnt know that so it will give the same fuel for both half and wot.. thats why im tuning 2 maps one for the under 30% tps and alpha n for the other 70% the car is running very perfectly right now. Still having issues with acceleration enrichment it’s literally the worst thing you could tune

    how are your air temps that low? where do you have your sensor located?

    • @SuperWepawepa
      @SuperWepawepa  2 года назад +1

      The sensor was installed in the vicinity of the trumpets of the itbs
